What can i eat these with? Rice alone, beef, chicken? I would eat these alone but would like to hear what else you might pair them with.

There's no rules to what you can eat these with as far as I'm aware! I think these would go well with any type of protein, although I don't think I've tried eating fish with pickled vegetables. You could pair it with rice which would mellow taste of the pickled cucumbers

Wow what are the chances I come across this video right before you travel. I’m born and raised in Oahu, if you get a chance you should check out drip studio HNL in Chinatown or the curb in Kaimuki. Right now drip studio has this incredible bean from dak coffee roasters called milky cake that literally tastes like vanilla was put in your coffee.

I typically filming in a in 24fps, ISO on 640 or 12800 since that’s the native dual ISOs on the FX3 when shooting in S-LOG3. Also I’m shooting in 4K, 10-bit format with a S-LOG3 color profile for color grading in post. Generally, some people set their shutter speed at twice the speed (or as close as possible if it’s not available) of the frame rate they’re shooting at. 24fps-1/48, 30fps-1/60, 60fps-1/120. I believe the motion blur you get at these settings is “more cinematic”, and the motion blur will look different depending how fast or slow your shutter speed is. But to achieve this, sometimes you may need a Neutral Density (ND) filter to darken the image before it hits your sensor if you want to also keep your aperture wide open for the bokeh effect, otherwise your footage could be overexposed. If you’re just getting started with video, I would stick with 8-bit and with custom picture profile off to reduce the file size and not worry about color grading in post for now. If you’re not shooting in manual, then I would look into how shutter speed, aperture, and ISO affect your video. If you’re already shooting in manual and not really enjoying the look of a fast shutter speed and smaller aperture (1/500 and 5.6 perhaps?), you could pick up a ND or Variable ND filter (different strengths built into 1 filter since lighting conditions could change) to experiment with the motion blur look I mentioned previously

I used 2 cotton pads made a hole and place the front part of the mic in one and the rear part in the other then put the dead cat on. It flattens the sound out a bit cuts out a bit of the high frequencies which inturn makes the low end seem more bright. Makes it sound like an even more expensive microphone. They did not use much material and the type of materal needs "deadening" . Out the box it has a hollow sound and amplifies the echo sounds in a large space. With the mod I've done fixes that to a degree making it more pleasant to work with breaking the harshness up a bit

These two cameras might be the only cameras I bring for an upcoming vacation and I think I need to understand better which camera is better suited for what scenario. I wasn’t expecting both cameras to do well in such a challenging lowlight situation, but I was pleasantly surprised how well the Q2 did.

I bought this for my friend for his birthday as we just moved into a new house and he finally has room for a workshop. The bench was very easy to set up ru-vid.comUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh They center support is a little difficult to snap in and out of place at first but at least then we know the bench is secure. It was a pleasant surprise when we saw it came with clamps. I apparently missed that in the description. My friend loves the versatility of the bench. Great starter bench for his workshop and easily transportable all over our property. I wish the bench was a little taller but the other features of the bench more than make up for that.

@daltonlsw

You’d probably have to pick up a camera cage or something that gives you additional mounts, but if it secures to the Sony hot shoe mount, you’d lose out on that feature with the Sony microphone.

Since you have a deep bassy voice, you need to avoid anything Rode. Everything they make elevates the bass a ton. Except maybe just Video Micro/Go II, those tiny capsules sound tinny. Otherwise, all bass, no treble sparkle. You will sound nice with Sennheiser mics those are more balanced.

The abnormalities on your 35mm film appears to be light leaks. I think when you advance the curtain, there might be a tiny gap hence why you get those streaks, I had a similar issue with a camera, best way to check is open the back of it and shine a light through the front or back and slow advance the curtain and see if there is any light leaking through. If so may need to be services, alternatively just make sure you cover the lens with a cap or something when advancing and do so quickly. I hope that helps if you had not already figured it out. And really enjoyed the video
@daltonlsw
@daltonlsw Год назад
I have not gotten around to checking it but some others have said the seals have degraded naturally over time and needs to be replaced to prevent the light leaking issue

@daltonlsw
@daltonlsw Год назад
I actually didn't check until reading this comment. When running Cinebench R23, the P-Cores spike to 100C and I see the P-Core frequency drop to 5.0 to 5.1 GHz in HWMonitor. When running my Adobe Media Encoder test I have, it also will spike up to 100C but the P-Core frequency stays at 5.3 GHz (running the 13700K at stock, not OC, max P-Core boost should be 5.3 GHz). I think if I wanted to improve temps, I could try out the Thermal Grizzly contact frame, but I'm not sure how much that would lower my temps overall

Nice job on both pics and video! I don't want to be fumbling around with a phone and app when I'm trying to shoot film; it messes with the vintage/analog vibe.
