Yeah well that's all good buddy. Yep nice product, but try and remember all of these combinations of switch pushes while you're riding. Can see that you're reading off a script. Probably need that same script next to the handlebars while riding. So instead of hands off handbars, it would be eyes off the road.

Hi all. Did the Mod with the front sprocket on my CBR500R and it has worked wonders. The speedometer now reads exact. I just did a major long-range highway trip and the motor was working a lot less hard at 70mph. Much more usable and better mileage. This works really well.

Chris regarding your exhaust voiding the warranty, check with your sponsor Rick. Here in NY we have protections in place that do not allow modifications that "void the warranty" to be included in the company boilerplate legal documents. It appears the legality of enfircement is on a state by state basis. Ironically, I can legally change my exhaust in NY without voiding a warranty, however I cannot pass the NYS inspection. You could do what folks here do... Keep the stock exhaust for those times you need it. - Frank

I saw this for the first time at Barber last year, at the US distributor's both. He demonstrated removing and installing tires several times for me. I was impressed! Very slick tool. And, IF I changed tires weekly it would be a must have item. However, even owning 15 motorcycles, I don't change tire all THAT often. And damn! It ain't cheap. And after all these years, I honestly don't normally find most tires all that hard with my spoons, In fact, with some bike/tire combos, I can have the tires swapped, using three spoons, and some Ru-Glyde, in about the time it takes to get the Rabaconda out of the bag and set up. Admittedly, I do have trouble getting tires off sometimes, but spooning them back on isn't that difficult if you take SMALL bites at a time and use good lube. Most people get too "greedy" with the spoons! Go slow and take small bites and most tires slide on with little effort. Not knocking the Rabaconda, as it is a nice unit. But with multiple bikes, of different types, buying the base unit, and then all the extras, gets costly. Guess I'll stick with my spoons.. Just depends on your budget and how often you actually change tires, I suppose... For a racer that changes tires all the time, then hell yeah!

As a chain wears, it develops tight spots. You can check it in one position and tension would be fine, rotate the wheel half a turn and it would be too tight. Therefore, this tool still needs to be positioned when the chain is at its tightest spot and you have to find that spot using your fingers. 🤷🏻
@MotoPhotoAdventures
@MotoPhotoAdventures 5 дней назад
Well it's not perfect. But we still think it's a helpful device. Most of the time you can visually locate the tighter spot in the chain by just rolling the bike forward.

Thanks so much for this video, great info! I bought this unit and going to install tomorrow feeling much more confident! Only question I still have is you posi tapped a 5 amp acc fuse but my bike has nothing below 7.5 it seems. If I tap my headlight fuse as well will this matter?
@MotoPhotoAdventures
@MotoPhotoAdventures 14 дней назад
If you're installing a Garmin Zumo device, it shouldn't matter at all. You'll notice there's a circuit box that comes with the wires for your Zumo. That box will take whatever voltage you give it (within reason), and send the correct amount of power to the unit.
@JonCohen-q7e
@JonCohen-q7e 14 дней назад
@@MotoPhotoAdventures thanks for the response! I’m installing the Vantrue F1 dashcam, do you know if this unit will also do that?
@MotoPhotoAdventures
@MotoPhotoAdventures 13 дней назад
@@JonCohen-q7e ahhh...my sincere apologies! I was responding to a number of questions on our channel and mistakenly thought I was replying to a comment on a video where we installed a Garmin Zumo GPS using a similar connection. Anyway, YES!!! The Vantrue F1 works the same way. You will connect the +/- leads to the battery. The accessory lead can be connected to any "switched" power. It doesn't matter if it's 5 amp, 7.5 amp, 15 amp, etc. All this wire does is tell the "brain" of the unit to power up the system. When it does so, it draws the power from the +/- connections. I hope this helps! Bottom line is, you shouldn't have any problems connecting to your headlight fuse.
@JonCohen-q7e
@JonCohen-q7e 13 дней назад
@@MotoPhotoAdventures amazing thank you! One more question there , each fuse has two wires going to it. Are they different polarity, does it matter which wire you tap?
@MotoPhotoAdventures
@MotoPhotoAdventures 12 дней назад
@@JonCohen-q7e I'm not sure I understand. But if I do, they will both work. One side is from the bike to the fuse block...the other side is from the fuse block to the accessory (headlight in your case). You'll want to use the side leading to the accessory so that the fuse still protects the bike. If unsure which is which, remove the fuse. The side that doesn't go "live" when you turn the ignition on is the correct side. Plug the fuse back in and now it will go "live" when you turn the ignition on. Tap into the wire on that side and you're good to go.

Hey mate, im stupid. where is the factory USB port located? great vid!
@MotoPhotoAdventures
@MotoPhotoAdventures 16 дней назад
No worries, brother! If you're sitting on the bike, the factory USB port is at the bottom left of the dash. It's kind of underneath and facing outward from the dash console. It's got a little plastic cover over it. So basically it'll appear to be a small rectangular "bump" that sticks out. Just pull that cover off and you'll see the USB port portected underneath. Obviously, if you ride in the rain, you'll want to unplug your device and put that plastic cover back on to keep it water tight. Hope this helps!

This was exactly what I was looking for with installation and how to use the app before I decided to make a purchase. This video is exactly what I wanted to see to satisfy my curiosity about installation on a bike. I agree with the switch, instead of direct battery installation. But I'm curious about the parked recording that it is capable of doing as well since I do not have a garage to park my bike. So I would have to consider how much battery drainage it would do if I direct wired the device.
@MotoPhotoAdventures
@MotoPhotoAdventures 16 дней назад
I'm glad our video was helpful! I don't think the parked recording would be a problem for you. I'm pretty sure it can be used whether you install the cameras direct to the battery or to the switched power. The feature can be turned on or off in your app. And it has a power-safety built in. So in theory if you just leave your bike parked for a short time, it will stay active. But if you leave it parked for a long time and it starts to drain your battery to the point that it won't start the bike, that feature will automatically shut off. I haven't played with it since I park in my garage. I'll try to look at it one day next week. But that's how I understand it to work based on the research I did and from reading the manual.
