Welcome All. I’m Shelley an over 40 Grassroots event rider taking on the challenge of British Eventing with the goal to one day make it to Novice level!. Accompanied by my two ex racehorses this is an Honest and real version of what eventing at the lower levels is like. This is horse life on a budget but with big dreams nothing can stop us.
Me and my wife are looking into purchasing a horse in a few years for our daughter, I must say we both found your video brilliant for the breakdown costs needed to look after a horse and the realisation that it's not cheap but that will not stop us looking into it and making sure we do things correctly. @@everydayeventers8580 racehorses are worked with the jockeys off their back so they don't have strong muscles under the saddle. When you sit through the canter transition, as we are all taught, they will often hollow against the pressure. Try going into a jockey seat or jumping seat, we call it 2 point in Australia, when you ask for canter. 😀
