Pea is my type of dream horse in the sense a horse that needs to be in endless work & a complete challenge. So I would love that! It's exactly how my Lara was but for sure that's not for everyone. Take the pressure off yourself. Do the things you enjoy. You work full time so it's all understandable. It's good to take it easier with Molly too don't put too much pressure on yourself.
I already commented on your Instagram post but again I have to say I think you've made a very hard but very sensible decision. Horses are bloody hard work and trying to juggle it all is so difficult sometimes that it's completely okay to say that something has to give. They are both lovely mares but I do think from watching your vlogs you and Molly have a very special relationship; she is looking fabulous for the middle of winter too! Xx

You sound like you have your feet on the ground . Best wishes for Pea , she’s beautiful and someone will find a mach with her. And , for you and Molly there’s so much to do and learn together. It will be fun to follow journey together. I have understood that you do have an older mare too. Have you shared her story in previous videos? So you had the work and expenses of tre horses, that’s understandable not easy for a person with an “normal “ job.
Yes I have a mare who is 30 this year who lives her life in the field. So I did have three and it was a lot. I keep saying I need to do a story of cherry but never got round to it 😊 xx

I have a couple of young kids, a very busy job in healthcare, and I bought a horse two years ago…and have the same issues as you. It’s hard to get out there some weeks. My horse also needs more constant riding (OTTB as well). He is almost 14 but mind of a 3 yo 😅 love him and have made some changes with job to spend more time with my kids and horse (and I guess husband 😂).
I’ve been wanting to message you for a while but didn’t feel like it was my place. I wanted to tell you that I’ve seen you struggle and I know your pain! I also wanted to give you permission to pivot! I searched for reasons and permission to sell a horse I knew I wasn’t clicking with. After being frustrated for over a year I finally gave myself permission to let go. I see how much you spend monthly so trust me when I say; let them go, save and spend a little bit more on a different breed. I went from OTTB to Draft cross and it’s been exactly the experience I had wanted with horses! XOXO and Happy New Year! Proud of you!
Thank you so much. It was a very difficult decision to make but feel that in mine and peas best interest a change was needed. She is thriving in her retraining yard and getting the attention and skill she needed. Concentrating in Molly is so lovely too and she is coming on so well. Glad it worked out for you too xx

I think you are very brave xxxxx and I truly hope you get to that competition!!! It takes a lot to do all that you have done with the girls and I admire you ! Having moved from ponys to horses in the last year and taking on a very sensitive sports horse it takes a lot out of you xxxxxxx keep your chin up and well done xxx
