I could have sworn they said the entire U8N line up was gonna be VA panels at CES this year. I remember this specifically because 75 inch is my target size, and I had nothing but trouble with the ADS panel on the U8K last year, so I was happy to hear the news. I’m hoping the ADS panel info for the 75” U8N was a posting error. As for your upcoming review, I really want to know about the on-board audio, specifically where all the 2.1.2 speakers are placed, and if you can hear distinct stereo separation or surround effects because of them. Thanks!
I prefer bright tv viewing. The 65 inch in the video was a va panel and was bright. Over time are va panels as bright as IP's panels? Possibly compare an IPS panel from Sony or lg against this va panel.
Wow that 65 inch looks so big. I don't know how some people feel a 65 inch TV is small nowadays. Well I guess everyone has a right to their own opinion.😊
Steve your videos are very helpful when I have to choose a TV. Right now I have a question and I really need your advice. I'm thinking to buy the U8N and I want 75" but is IPS and the 65" is AV. What do you think is going to be better between both? I mean. What is going to be better in color, contrast and black zones? I hope you can answer. Peace!

Damn, Steve. I thought you DID have every TV produced. No matter...your reviews are always solid gold. And what ever happened to your "peace" sign off? Keep up the great work, my friend.
Hello my friend, I am planning to buy a Samsung qn85d TV, but I don't know which is better, VA or ADS. I searched on Google, but most of the results are old, so I thought of asking you, what do you think?
Don’t leave us hanging like that Steve! Looking forward to the full review. The usual questions of blooming versus black crush, how does it handle the low quality source.
QUESTION: Can you please take a close look at the blooming challenges? I don't suspect a whole lot of blooming problems since I don't get a lot of issues from my U8H in HDR, but that's literally the first thing you hear from the OLED naysayers. I'm not expecting it to beat OLEDs at this, but knowing where it struggles would be nice to see.
Appreciate it the unboxing Tech Steve . That's the mini led I was waiting for to be unboxed wanting to know how is the sound or do I need a sound bar ???
I just got the 55u7n on sale for $549, I was looking at the 8, but I couldn't justify getting a 55 for $899. I love it so far, my only gripe is the processing power, it's not as refined as the Sony's. But it's also half to price.
I’m seeing that the 55 u8k is beating the 55 u8n for some reason. And for whatever reason, Hisense tends to purposely make the 55inch inferior to the bigger sizes. It was the same with the 55u8k vs the 65. It’s pretty annoying.
What do you think of this TV so far? 85" Hisense U8N geni.us/GcPySVZ 75" Hisense U8N geni.us/Xjk9dV 65 Hisense U8N geni.us/b6ipq 55 Hisense U8N geni.us/MeBqC5n ➡ DISCLAIMER: This video and description contains affiliate links, The channel gets a small commission for purchases made via these links. 4K at 24fps is perfect for me since I got it for movies anyway. I have an older 2020 Bravia 75X800H so this actually good to know . Thanks TechSteve . 🫡
Congratulations on the video, very detailed. I'm really unsure about which TV to buy. I live in Brazil and here this TV in 50" and the LG B3 55" have a very similar price. Which one would you recommend to put in a room?
Most soundbars don't sound very good only the very, very expensive ones sound good but I still wouldn't call them amazing. If you want the best sound quality and don't mind just a pair a front left/right speakers the best option is to connect a Van Damme digital optical cable from the back of the tv via it's optical output and then connect that to input on a DAC such as an RME ADI-2 DAC FS. Then connect a pair of Van Damme XLR cables from the DAC to a pair of active studio monitors such as the Dynaudio BM5 MKIII on metal speaker stands and put a foam monitor pads underneath. Then have some 50mm acoustic foam files on the walls to dampen room reflections. You can always wrap the foam in the same colour fabric as your walls so they're not as noticeable and unsightly. I used to be a professional sound engineer and that is the best option for a standard two speaker system connected to a tv. Unless you want surround then go for an AV amplifier with surround speakers. I've tried out so many soundbars in shops and not one not even the ones costing arounf £1,000 can match the sound quality I get from my two Alesis M1Active mkII studio monitors on good quality metal speaker stands with foam monitor pads underneath, the Cambridge Audio DAC Magic 100 DAC. I get excellent sound quality and using studio monitors and acoustic foam on the wlls to the sides to stop reflections I can hear actors lines in movies that weren't noticeable when using cheap speakers or soundbars.
