Thanks so much! Wow! That trip sounds amazing. We visited many of those places on our one year trip last year and are still working on those videos. Have fun!
Hey you guys, What a majestic drive. We can’t wait to experience it for ourselves. Yes Jimmy always go and explore further! Love love the videos and sharing in your adventures.
Thanks so much! We are always encouraged by your comments. You are going to have such a great time in the Banff-Jasper area. It is just so beautiful that it almost takes your breath away. What an amazing Creator we have!
Great video! MY husband and I have been married 38 years and we've been to Door County 3 times and will be going again next week with our kids and grandkids! If you've never been to Washington Island on one of your trips you need to make that a stop next time! I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your vlogs in the future. :)
Thanks so much! We are glad you enjoyed the video. We love Door County. There are so many fun things to do in that area. We did visit Washington Island while we were there, and we made another Door County video that includes that excursion.. So glad you have been able to visit there before and hope you have a great time with the kids and grandkids this time.
Thanks for watching! The trail where we saw the prairie dog town was called the Lookout Point Loop Trail. It was about a 5 mile loop. We loved seeing all the prairie dogs, and this is the trial whee we saw the bison as well.
We continue to enjoy and look forward to each adventure. That was truly an epic day of hiking! I agree that spine would make me a bit nervous in the wind. Such beautiful views. Our God’s creation is so gloriously beautiful!!!
Thank you! This was a big day for us, probably our hardest hike of the year, but we loved it all. So beautiful and just a bit scary. What an amazing God we have who could create this beauty!
Hey Guys. Absolutely gorgeous hike! Thanks so much for sharing. That was a rough scramble up and down at times but so worth those views. Love sharing these hikes through your lens😀
Hey, we always love hearing from you. You are so encouraging to us. This hike is stunningr. So many views. It was hard to take it all in. The scramble was difficult , but the views at the top--Just WOW!
What a beautiful area to live in! We were so glad we got to explore here. Get out there and enjoy this amazing hike and let us know what you think of it.
What an amazing, beautiful place! The series was amazing, I can't believe you did all that hiking in one day! The Canadian Rockies are spectacular. It was fun seeing David and Dianne in the videos. I'm glad they were able to share this experience with you. Paula, your climbing skills are unbelievable! Thank you for sharing your Banff adventure with us!
Thanks, Teresa! Wow! As we look back at this hike, we are once again amazed at what God has created. The Canadian Rockies are absolutely stunning. It was so much fun spending time with David and Dianne in Banff. One of our favorite couples in one of our favorite places. Now, on to adventures in Jasper.
Thanks! We loved visiting Harpers Ferry. The hike and the views were gorgeous, and the historical area was so much fun to explore. One of our favorites!
Wow!!! That trail looks incredibly difficult, but that view was totally worth it!!! Y’all did an incredible job of shooting it to show the sketchy parts! What an amazing place!!! Thank y’all so much for sharing it with us!!!!!!
Thank you for your encouraging comments. It was a beautiful hike. Being at the top and being able to see Lake Agnes and Lake Louise at the same time was amazing. Hiking back down was a little tricky, but we took our time and were very careful. Can't wait to share Part Three of the hike. That video is coming soon.
Like to watch your video it’s beautiful park, and lake in door county but you didn’t share the name of state park and what part of door county so if we want to visit we will know where to go I had been to door county one time had stay at sister bay and tour the Washington island. but had seem all thing you two post on your channel my name also Paula good to hear your name as my name too thank you.
Hi Paula, great to hear from you. Thank you for watching our video. The state parks that we visited were Whitefish Dunes State Park near Sturgeon Bay (this surrounds Cave Point County Park) and Peninsula State Park near Fish Creek. We really enjoyed both of these parks. Hope you get to go there and enjoy them for yourself.
So beautiful! I don’t blame your friends for sitting that one out, though. Looked pretty rough but y’all handled it like the pros that you are! Thanks for sharing!
Got married at Banff! We started this hike but stopped because of the VERY strong smell of “some” kind of animals : I was convinced it was bear. And there was scat. Who knows could have been moose which we’d seen earlier on drive to Takakawa Falls. I’m glad we didn’t do it - cause we NEVER would have survived this VERY sketchy trail. While I applaud you doing it at your age and experience level AND filming it - I was confident I was going to watch one or both of you tumble backwards down the mountain on the steep climbs. Or just slip and fall down the ledges. Thank God you made it home safely! Be careful please. Keep on hiking! No animals on Tour du Mont Blanc - free cold glacier water fountains, pizza , beer, cheese, bread at Refugio’s every 5-10 - 15 miles ; some wild hiking and also accommodations.
Thanks for watching and for your concern. We are actually very experienced hikers and very careful. We always make safety the priority, and if one of us has a concern, we skip it. This is a very doable trail if you are experienced and careful.
Okay, this one had me a nervous wreck. Watching you both go up and down had my heart pumping. I'm so glad you both made it up and down safely. Here are my top 5: 1. Backgrounds when you are climbing look like a postcard. 2. I was concerned for Paula coming down those jagged and rocky areas. She is so BRAVE! 3. I can't believe your climbing and scrambling skills. IMPRESSIVE! 4. When you both were on the ledge at the top of the summit overlooking those lakes. BREATHTAKING! 5. The cliffhanger - What happened to David and Dianne????
Thanks, Teresa! We love getting your Top 5. This hike was really difficult, but we were very careful. It was so amazing being immersed in these mountains, and that payoff view at the top was spectacular. Now, to find David and Dianne...stay tuned.
Wow, you all are amazing with all your climbing skills. Poor Dan and I would have never made it. Absolutely love Banff so far. Here are my top 5: 1. Lake Louise - The most beautiful lake I have ever seen. 2. Big Beehive - I cannot believe you all climbed it, that looked totally crazy. However, definitely looked like it was worth it for those spectacular views. 3. Lake Agnes - loved the color of the water. 4. Seeing David and Dianne and having them share this experience with you. David always looks so serious. 😉 5. You, too, are always so cute; always love those kisses!
Thanks for the Top 5, Teresa! We always love them. This place is just so amazing. Wherever you look, there is something beautiful to see. The higher you go, the better the views. We did love sharing this adventure with David and Dianne especially knowing how much they love the area as well. Can't wait to share the rest of the hike with you. It was truly an amazing day.
Thanks, Michelle! We miss you too. Banff is such an amazing place. So glad we got to visit again on this yearlong trip. And this hike was one of our favorites!
We did this hike in July 2023 as part of a full-year campervan trip. The summer season in Banff National Park is pretty short, so you'll need to check the local weather before you plan a trip. We've been in July and August, and it actually snowed in August.
Hello - I bought a 2018 Simplicity SRT in 2023 - like it alot. It's name is RamBob in memory of my dad. Just took it on a 4359 mile trip to see the eclipse in Texas. Question: Have you found a way to get into driver's seat in the dining area in front when the table is installed? I sliced the table top and put in a piano hinge to make it fold - but it still isn't enough room to slide past it. I am wondering if I can unbolt the pedestal and move it 2-3 inches towards the passenger seat.
We actually never used out table at all. I think it was because it was just such a hassle to set it up and put it back. Your idea sounds like a good one though.
The last time I was in the East side of the organ mountains I saw a missile launch from white sands missile range (I was stationed there and they didn’t let me know that there was gonna be a missile launch so I got very scared)
We really didn't have too much trouble coming down except in the area where there was snow and ice, but trekking poles can be very helpful on steep downhills. And just take your time. It is a really nice trail with beautiful views. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Just happened upon your video as I am getting ready to visit the Pinedale area, how cool to see that you are from Omaha!! We are also travelling from the Omaha area to visit "the Real Wyoming."
Hello Guys, so excited to see another video. So so Beautiful! so looking forward to our trip there in September and appreciate any tips you have. Loved that hike and hope to do at least part of it(we will be traveling with the grandbaby and family). Looking forward as always for more videos. Take care:)
Hey, so great to hear from you. We are excited that you are going to Banff. It is so beautiful! The good thing about Banff is that there are shorter, easier trails with incredible views. The views at Lake Louise are breathtaking and just a short walk from the parking lot. Thank you for watching and encouraging us. We appreciate you!
Another great adventure , great filming again, thanks for sharing, only the editing seems to be not as good as usual, But thumbs Up anyway, Greetings from Germany Martin
I just came back, unfortunately I didn’t get to do these hike. But my son, granddaughter, and two of my best friends did enjoy Black Gap Pass (Jeep Badge of Honor Trail), Hot Spring, the Dinosaur Exhibit, and Balancing Rock. I can’t wait to go back!
So glad you got to visit this beautiful national park. Sounds like you all had a great time exploring.. We loved hiking there, and it sounds like we need to go back and check out some of these trails.
Awesome! You will love it! Beautiful views, but the climb and the altitude make it a really difficult hike. Start early to avoid being at the summit when the afternoon storms roll in. Most of all, enjoy!
Fantastic video. Stunning visuals, scenery, great overview narrated with lovely energy and positivity. Most enjoyable to watch ❤ will check out some of your other videos
Thanks so much! We had a great time in Harpers Ferry. The hike and the views were amazing, and we really enjoyed the historical area as well. What a great place to explore.
Thanks so much! We are glad you enjoyed the video.Olympic National Park is so large that it is quite the challenge to explore. But it is absolutely worth it. We loved it! So many places to explore and so much diversity.
