I absolutely love your car. It sounds awesome and you certainly know how to drive it. Lovely sound track and great scenery. Top marks for a very enjoyable video. Kind regards Paul from 48 Spokes 🇬🇧
It should not though we had to replace the head gasket as the biggest problem. The crankshaft has been made new with counter balance weight and that helps as the original can break. But the engine and head are fully original and so is the chassis. Gear box is of the crash type and very robust. We mostly drive it on normal roads but also on race tracks as Silverstone, Zandvoord and the Nürburgring. The car was restored from 18993 to 1997 and we drive it ever since as on this RU-vid movie
This is NOT an original K3. It is KN0384 , 4 door pillarless saloon, rebuilt to K3 specifications. I know, I owned this KN0384 before it became a replica K3. Yes it is a fine car, just NOT a K3. Bob Grunau.
Might be but I have the other car and not the K which was there for the sound difference. The K car is sold I know of some years ago to Switzerland I believe
The F2 without a doubt. It has a much more full throaty sound to it I would say thanks to the drop in the long tube header. Both absolutely stunning cars.
Very enjoyable and well produced video. So glad I found your channel. Your car gives me a lot of pleasure. I love all of the sounds of the engine and transmission...it's glorious 👍
Thanks, and the guy driving is driving first time and even manage after two trials to shift the crash box without brushing teeth. He is a German having a Garage and is a real "Meister" in engineering.
Love this video. It inspires me as I am restoring an an MGTF Replica special which has a 2ltr 6 cylinder. I aim to make it sound az good as your car is 👍💚
Thanks for your comment. The cars starts better now as we had the car on a test bank and changed the needle. Now we now that also at full throttle the mixture is not to lean. This when running on a circuit like the Nurburgring 😀. When you got your car running record the sound and send it 👍
@@F2magna Hi Jack, I will but there's quite a lot of work still to be done. I'm currently setting up my workshop with all the tools I need to complete the car like the dry air system, blasting cabinet and powder coating oven. Just the oven left to build and I will be ready to start properly on the car. I intend to put some videos on my RU-vid channel called 48 Spokes if you want to have a look at. There isn't anything there yet but there will be soon. I have a good friend who has an MG TC fully restored and is now working on a very rare MG Van which there is only one currently on the road in the UK. Kind regards Paul

ranter7100 I fully agree with you. The car is sleek and even today you can really drive it fast from right to left. I can still surprise a new car behind me when going over a roundabout. The long nose it beautiful in front of you when driving. From 24 - 26 May we drive the car on the Classic Nürnburg NORD Schleife.
@@F2magna These 1930's MG's were alot of car in a small package Cecil Kimber had his shit sorted in regard to what made a small engined car go fast. You could film it jack the Nurburg just for 1930's MG nuts like myself to get our fix. anyway love your car good to see one out there being driven if i had one it would be used.
Yes we got now the choke working and a different needle and does has improved the cold start a lot. The car has been on a dynamo test bank to check also the mixture at full throttle. This when driving on the tracks we want to be certain the engine is not having a to lean mixture. We changed the needle now with more fuel at the top end. The disadvantage when driving in 4th gear at low rpm the car becomes to much fuel but keeps on driving but when shifting back it takes a few 100 yards to rev again :-)
Hi I just saw your comment just now but can you be a bit more specific as I do not understand what your looking for with the piping between Dash and body work
