I don’t believe so. I just logged into Plex and selected library, and it appears it only allows you to sort by artist, album, tracks or folders. It might be possible to create folder by music type within you main file folder, and then you could select that folder to play. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing.

Hello, if you want to, WinX does have the ability to make a mirror image of your DVD. To answer your question, the software does allow you to select different outputs, however, I have never attempted to split the video and audio into separate files. If you are interested we do have 3 part video demo using MakeMKV and Handbreak. These are also very effective for burning DVDs and BlueRays. I didn't see you mention. Some DVDs will not show Program name, season or disk # in number which can be a problem with a set such as TV Series. They may have a generic name or if you are dealing with home made DVD using same recorder. You can change output to add those things by clicking "Set Tag" There are 2 places you want to change Name and Target Name. That way you can at least differentiate them. Players such as VLC use the "Target Name" in playlist vs the File folder on computer will use "Name" In either case it will use those 2 fields to name output files and add Title # after it.

Not having 100% luck with the ripping - seems that DVDs with special encoding - Disney mostly - are not working. Even when I create ISO files they are not playable. Has anyone used a better program?

@@NeedyCatMedia Was able to get MKV/Handbrake to work on the ones that wouldn't work with WinxDVD. Now Winxdvd is making a refund very difficult by forcing hoop jumping to trouble shoot and nothing has worked, now they want SCREEN SHOTS!!! LOL Have used their product before but will not be using them again.

Did you run to your computer when you made this video? Why do you sound all out of breath? Also, those popup sound effects are super bothersome, while trying to focus on your video. Anyway, thanks for making the video. Just maybe consider applying some of this feedback for any future projects. 😉

I don't think it can rip on 5.1 surround sound (6 channels). Now when clicking in to Property, it will show 6 channels audio, but is not true. If you open the video on Davinci Resolve video editor, you'll see that the dvd is ripped on 2 channels, not 6!

Every DVD will have more than 1 file. Look for the one that is close to 2 hours long, or however long the movie is. Check that box and leave the others unchecked. Then click run. Let me know if that works.
useless. the menus look different and there is no way to make media appear in the shared account once you've accepted. whatever you did you forgot to mention something because this is usless

It would be great if WINX DVD worked. I tried the Trial version of WINX DVD COPY PRO. In the software, I chose Clone DVD to DVD because I wanted a duplicate (exact copy of) DVD. In a couple of seconds it said copied to HD and wanted me to put in a blank DVD. After that, Ot went back to the Run page (opening page, i suppose). Isn't that what I must do to make a second copy/duplicate? Upon clicking a start/run button, it wanted to know if I wanted to buy the Winx DVD Copy Pro, and along side a couple of right-facing arrows I used to progress. What happened and why make this software so difficult?
Hi Jerry, sorry for the delay on replying to your question. I don't have my DVD burner anymore, but I was able to create a ISO full copy of a DVD. I have never used the trial version. Because I was able to create a clone it appears this feature is not available within the trial version. Sorry you had difficulty.

The WinX DVD supposed to be a fully functional trial for an allotted number of times/or time frame, so it essentially led me to believe it could burn a disc. @jerrymontalbano3222 , Yes, within Win DVD, I clicked on DVD, selected my drive, and the clicked on DVD backup then clone DVD to ISO. Its then created the file. When I clicked on the file it did play for me. I hope this helped
Thanks Needy. However, I want to play it from a "burned DVD". I suppose it takes the ISO and "unraps" it into DVD files on the disc to make it playable? (compression a little close to Zip which needs to be unzipped, but not to be playable into MPEG-2 format like the ISO. Is that right? I suppose the WINX DVD can do the ISO burn into MPEG-2/4 capability? (I'm a novice, so have mercy). <chuckle. :-)
I have the full series of That 70’s Show on DVD (not BluRay). I’ve tried everything I can think of and watched your videos. It’s completely skipping episodes and some are only 11 minutes long and combined with other episodes. I’ve checked all the files and there are no odd ones. Each disk has 9 episodes, but I’m not getting 9, usually just 4.
@tammyferguson2633 , that is crazy. Sorry it not working for you. As you saw in the video it was a vert simple process. I use it for all my tv series and have never had an issue. I know that does not help you. Maybe the software needs to be reinstalled. Sometimes that helps fix software issues, sorry I cannot help.
This isn't any easier than Make MKV. Not sure what you are showing or trying to show here as this isn't any different. Handbrake doesn't have to be used its an option step to save you some file space.

Ok. I have another question. I want to CLONE my TV show DVD sets that I purchased, to blank DVD's. (I have the blanks and the burner). But here's the situation and I'll try to be as layman as I can in explaining it without being wordy. The Season 1 of the show comes with 2 DVD's each having 5-6 episodes on it. I put disc 1 (5 episodes) and rip them. No problem. But then when I go to transfer them to the blank DVD, it only allows me to burn 2 or the 5 episodes? Why???? The "original" standard DVD held 5 episodes so why doesn't the blank one??
Hello Johnny, In response to your question, according to the WinX website you can make a fun copy of any DVD by creating a ISO image; which is playable. I have never tried to use this function, for I put all my backup movie file on my home media server. I hope this helps. On the main interface is where you will find the ISO Image button. Hi Johnny, sorry for the delay. Burning an ISO image to a blank DVD is the same as burning your video file. Then, once completed it should play like the original. I don't believe there is anything special you need to do. I wish I had some blank DVD's to test it, but from what I can read online it should be fine. Let me know how it goes.

You can click on the audio for each individual track and burn that audio with the video but I don't know how to burn more than one audio track with the video. So if you want the audio commentary, you have to burn the video twice, once for each audio track. That's a lot of wasted disc space.🙄@@NeedyCatMedia
Step 1: Insert a DVD Movie Insert any kind of DVD (commercial, self-created or copy-protected DVD) onto you DVD-ROM. Click on "DVD Disc" button to import the DVD to the software. It will take a moment to choose the right title. Step2: Select Full Title Copy Select 'Full Title Copy' profile under 'DVD Backup' options. Full Title Copy allows you to copy DVD to MPEG 2 file while maintaining all the tracks, (while Main Title Content Copy allows you to save the DVD with selected audio/video tracks). Besides, you can also take advantages of the DVD backup profile to clone DVD to a folder, copy DVD main title with selected language or audio track, and even create ISO image from DVD at 1:1 ratio or go the device profile to convert DVD to digital MP4, MOV, AVI, iPhone, iPad, Android, Sony, etc. DVD Full Title Copy Full Title DVD Copy Step 3: Set Output Video Parameters and Select the Destination Folder WinX DVD Ripper Platinum allows you to set parameters of the output video, such as frame rate, video/audio codec, and resolution. You can choose proper values according to your own need. Then select the Destination folder. Step 4: Start Copying Click RUN button to start copying DVD main title to MPG file. After very few minutes, you can find the MPG file in the destination folder.
Hello, I found this information from the website, it looks like the only way to can copy everything is to create a full image copy. I have included the steps for you to follow. I hope this helps.

Hey, I have a question for you. I have an older computer that has Windows 10. About six months ago I bought a new laptop that has windows 11. On my old computer I have about 3000 CDs burned to it that I play with windows media player. I’m old-school so I still buy physical CDs and like to burn them to my computer. I noticed the new Windows media player on Windows 11 does not allow me to edit the CDs. Unfortunately I have to go grab cover art and sometimes correct the year the CD was released. I can’t find a way to do that on windows 11 media player. Do you know of any program that I can install on my new laptop with windows 11 media player that will allow me to edit my CDs? @@NeedyCatMedia sometimes the album covers are missing and sometimes if there's bonus tracks they don't have the names of the songs. With media player on Windows 10 I can go in there and edit everything.

I unfortunately no longer have a dvd burner drive, but that is what you need to store files to a dvd. I am sure Amazon still carries them. The process is simple though. Once you have the drive which normally comes with burning software it’s as simple as drag and drop. You will also need to purchase blank recordable dvds. An alternative to dvds have you thought about using a flash drive? If you are thinking about watching movies most TVs have a usb, and using a flash drive make it easy.
No, I mean you explained very well how to use WinX. But when I'm done, what program do I use on my PC to drag and drop the files to in order to burn a DVD. I already have the DVD external burner hooked up to my PC. @@NeedyCatMedia
Good morning, I would suggest trying WinX DVD Author. It’s appears to be 100% free. Now I have never used it, but seeing it from the WinX I would bet it’s decent. If you try it let me know how it goes. To answer your question on which file to burn. It would be the single file created. My guess when you ripped the movie DVD you created either a MKV or MP4 file.

Only rips 5 minutes if you don' buy a license key. I bought a lifetime license key. Every time I had to reinstall winx the lifetime license key would not work. I had to email support and get them to reset it. Royal pain in the butt. There are free software that do the job just as well for example VLC Media Player.

I have a lifetime license to WinX DVD Ripper Platinum, but the program has recently developed multiple issues when ripping episodes from brand-new discs of a TV series, including being very slow and ripping duplicates. I've been emailing back and forth with their tech for over a week, sending them log files & .IFO files, etc. And they still don't know what's wrong. They have referred my case to the developers.
As long as you have your plex server has an internet connection you can share your media library. A plex pass is only needed if you want to view your content on a mobile device.
