I CANT PUT A SITUATION TO THIS SONG LIKE YALL DID, AND I DON'T LOOK FORWARD TO THAT DAY... BUT WHEN HE SAYS...WE SEEMED LIKE BROTHER'S... IT REMINDS ME 9F MY LIL BROTHER THAT LIVES 1500 MILES AWAY FROM ME, GOING THROUGH TOUGH TIMES RIGHT NOW.. I LOVE U LIL BRO
I was seeing this boy who was super preppy, he asked me to meet him at mall and all of the sudden he had turned MAJOR PUNK, had this tape, showed it to me, I was a shocked 15 year old, I didn't talk to him anymore and everytime I think of punk, I think of him and this song. Weird memory
I played this album over and over and over - in the late 1970s. Today this song started up in my head and I HAD to hear it - after maybe thirty years having not heard it. Music is magic - it brings up back to where we were and we remember songs we love - somewhere in our brain - seems like forever. I knew lots of people 'been down one time' and 'been down two time' - and too many that I sure wished were 'never going back again'.
I remember when my older brother played me SPACE ODDITY through the headphones and i thought that was the most artistic, brilliant, and it just sounded way better than anything i was listening too at that time. But i was instantly a BOWIE fan,i had every album he realeased, and i still love him today
She broke down and let me in Made me see where I've been Been down one time Been down two time I'm never going back again You don't know what it means to win Come down and see me again Been down one time Been down two time Mmm I'm never going back again
This song saw me and my children victoriously through a very difficult court case we had a verdict in our favour”You don’t know what it means to win”.Thank you Fleetwood Mac
