Your should practice reading, its clear your reading as if your reading a child's book to a group of 6 year olds. Trust me I know its hard. I sound like a robot. 3:34 you also said you spend a small fortune, but than you only show 2 ratchets, 4 sockets and a Snap On hat. But with Snap On prices, you might be right!!! I see guys on here that show huge massive Snap on collection in $18,000 boxes and even they don't calls their sets a 'small fortune".
Regardless of what I say, you have made your video as RU-vid analytics also factors comments. I have been an ASE Master tech since 78, but 10+ years of this work prior starting with Globe Master. I don’t know the brake system you inspected but you should have a 6-Point Impact socket even with a 1/2” ratchet for leverage. A different steel alloy like ARP bolts are different from off the shelf grade 8. Heat treating, annealing, stamping the breach and finish would last longer. A 14mm impact swivel in a set was used everyday for 14yrs until it broke. I had a moment of silence for this socket. Sounds corny but remember, you get what you pay for & I hated borrowing others tools. My rule was if I used a tool, socket or special item, I bought one. Unfortunately at the dealer, I repaired a brand nobody would work on, so I did manual 4X4’s trans, automatics, electrical, engine, diff, HVAC, just everything. So 3 factory scan tools 30 boxes of special tools the was required. I ended up w/4 tool boxes, $170k in tools and 90% were SnapOn and they served me well until 9PM as the dealer closed. It’s not changing my mind nor hundreds of thousands of others. Just glad so much of mine were purchased before you were born. Thank you kindly for pointing of view.
I liked th air hammer but I don’t live near n Canada my first s t was husky air tools and had bor freight and th skip 1/4 years l citric for assembly. I haven’t been abl to take anything apart with waitrons or anything l Cyril’s. Start t th way process with a breaker and 3/8 impact set 1/4 snap on swivel. The 10 and 8 brok constantly. The 3/8 swivel body makes the 1/4 able to fit. Engine tear down and r&r
I have a 2012 Kenworth t800 tail lights not working, but trun single does, and so do the hazard lights. I replaced the chassis node All fuses are good I just don't know.. it's kicking my but any help lmk plz
Good night master… I just replaced the abs module complete with the air valve.. just did my S cams on both sides put on new sensors and extensions… and when I turn the truck on abs light comes on few seconds comes off … problem is when I move and I park it starts blinking 7 times stops and then another 2 times ..any advice please I have worked so much on it!
You can check to see if the hub has play if the bearings are no longer seeded properly the tone ring will bounce back and fourth causing an air gap at moments
The drawers do open all the way, you just have to pull a little harder. If you dont contantly open them all the way the slides get a stiff spot at the end
Honestly I was a snap on guy, but I started using mastercraft and Stanley and even a few of the old titan brand from princess auto and haven't really looked back. I buy cheap wrenches but all my gear wrenches are gearwrench brand. Hell I've got a Stanley half inch ratchet wrench that I've had for 15 years that sees work every single day. I've had 3ft pipes on it and its never broke. It really depends on the specific tool not the brand. I will without a doubt say that snap on and mac make the better wrenches (if you really need a better wrench). But every other brand can out do them in a specific tool. That's a fact.
Hello. I need help please. I have 2007 Vanguard trailer. I have 5 volts on the module, wires right before sensor 5volts. Sensor wire 1200 resistance when set on ohms, both wheels. Lift up both wheel spin the wheels there is consistency and i still get the yellow light, new green cable that connects truck and trailer but i know that the truck is not issue cause i have other two trailer and i never get the abs light on This issue is driving me crazy. What could be the problem that triggers the abs light to come on ? Yellow light blinks 6 and repeats that for three times
Hello. Freightliner Cascadia 2016. Tractor ABS light on. The truck won't start. I don't have a check engine light on the dashboard only the ABS light on. If you guys know something about this can help me. Appreciate it.
Thanks for the great video. I have been an heavy equipment mechanic for 40 plus years and it's interesting that you had to make specialized tools as well 👍👍👍💯💯💯🔧🔧
Thank you for making the review on this tool. I'm a caterpillar mechanic and I use the Milwaukee M12 3/8 drive right angle impact and I like that tool a lot. It saves me a lot of time to when I'm working in tight spaces on skid steers.
I just bought the Snap On set. They were very expensive but made in USA. I love Snap On wrenches if you could afford mac you should have just gotten the SNAPPY.
I just bought a toolbox just like this with same tools and alot of other things i thought who had it was a machineist but he must have been avaition mechanic
I won't tell anyone not to buy Snap-on, Mac, Cornwell, or any other USA-made brand of sockets, but I've spent 11 years in the business, and replacing lost sockets can get expensive. If you want to spend the money and get tool truck brand sockets, then go ahead. Although, for starting technicians, I would suggest either Gearwrench or Blue Point. That Blue Point master set is a nice set that goes all the way up to 24mm in a 3/8" drive, and it's a mixture of 6 points and 12 points. I use this set at home, and it's high quality. The case can be separated from the top portion and can fit in a tool box drawer for a relatively small place of real estate to store your 1/4" and 3/8" drive sockets.
T880 dash randomly just stops working all guages and light go out have to recycle key to get it working again when I get truck cant duplicate concern 😂
What would cause the ABS light on the trailer to not cycle during the self test? I’ve replace the bad light on the trailer and a bad relay on the truck.
My abs light don't come on when I turn the key to on or turn the semi truck on. I just changed the pigtail wire and a brand new round abs light, and still not working. What can it be? Do I test the wire for current? And if there is no current then what?
This is odd...I've been pulling on Snap On sockets for nearly 30 yrs and this has never happened to me on a chrome. I thought you were using it on the impact but the drive side didn't look blown out. Weird
I have done them every way there is. The only technique I never tried much is using a chain to connect the s-cam return spring. You tube shows a bunch of homemade and purchased spring tools. I bought one in 40 years. Your drum dolly is cool, a floor jack works too , but not in gravel.
