This unfortunately didn't work for me. Used a heat gun, heated the bleep out of it until it shut off from overheating and I was afraid I was going to melt the components, and was still unable to pry the screen off. YMMV.
How do you fix the Fitbit versa white screen. My watch screen fell off. It was never dropped or abused. It just loosened. Now the screen is white, I tried rebooting and letting the battery drain and recharging but still shows white screen.
Hi I bought a Fitbit charge 5 pebble but it is dead, I've tried resetting it, charging it but nothing. Do you think it is the battery? It's in perfect condition.
The key to success getting the screen off is to have a very thin tool like he shows and to start with the fitbit face up and push the tool DOWN between the screen and the case. Once you get the tool in, you can start to pry up. I overlooked that at first and was trying to get in with the tool sideways. I couldn't get it to do anything except slip and scratch the screen. I didn't have the tool he used, so I used a razor blade. Also,if you use the tool correctly, you won't be tempted to heat the fitbit excessively. I had my small heat gun set at 250 F and heated for maybe 15 seconds before I got the tool in. I heated a little more as I worked my way around the edges. Hope this helps someone.
@@fixfitbits4860 it doesn't do that. When I first saved this issue, I charged it over night and it eventually came back to life but just for a maybe a few hours. Since then, it's just dead. I am assuming it's the battery. Do you know what is the battery used in versa 2?
Perfect, easy to follow video, thank you. It cost me £15 for the replacement screen and £10 for a mini tool set that’ll last me forever. Already had some glue. There’s some finicky bits but even with my big hands I got it done.
Anyone recentlty seen this video ? How reliable is this fixing method ? Where can all these tools be bought ? And lastly, is the new screen as good as the old one and is the site legit ?
I have a charge 3 fitbit with a black sreen it can't even pair because of sreen so I wounder how much would a place that can repair it cost with parts I see a sreen is like around 20$ for a fitbit
I have 10 Ionic watches. After registration, I was able to verify 5 of them to receive a refund. When I tried to claim on the sixth one an onscreen message stated that as I had claimed 5 refunds I would need to contact Fitbit. I intend setting up another fitbit account in my wife's name to see if she will receive a refund for the other 5

the clips aer actually held in place by spring loaded thingies like regular watches are. But it;s very hard to push them inwards to replace the plastic clips
my wife's charge 5's screen went black the other day, it was at 65% when it happened. Green light was still blinking. Got home tried to do the soft reboot with the charging cable but still wont boot up. Charge 5 also wont sync with her phone as well. Any fix you guys have discovered? It was working well before this happened.
So I purchased the kit for this on Amazon got the screen off couldn't get screws out ripped out old screen and the watch was still charging and tracking steps. Then I took it to a guy with a more sturdy screw driver and he put the new band in but removed the little chip that the little band goes to. The little band was disconnected already but the chip was still attached under the new screen . The screen wouldn't work but it would charge now it isn't charging. I'm not sure what to do. I watched a video saying the little ribbon was only for the g pay and other pay apps so I thought it didn't matter.
