Octopus with Physics simulation full tutorial in my youtube channel at this link (doesnt include water simulation part) : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-upQ5uKU9ojs.htmlsi=oci7Ab2GFUpW3Nt6
Such a cool technique! Thanks for sharing. Around 13:40 where you used the Smooth modifier to fix the edges of the final mesh, you could try Smooth Corrective instead. I am not sure if it will work in this particular case but in theory it smooths out just the jankiness created by deformations without smoothing out the mesh as a whole.
What a superb tutorial! By the way, is there any solution we can make to expand the "bounding box" or the domain or I don't know what's the right term for that ( Hahaha), so that you can simulate a long smoke trail?
12:02 the cube for me changes the whole smoke and fire while the triangle does nothing, can you please tell me what exactly you did to make the triangle control the fireball and the cube control the smoke?
btw the problems with the particles goin in the air can be solved with settings the normal speed to 1m/s, this will follow the direction of the other particles/interactions.
