How It Was Made || Helicopter Destruction VFX Breakdown - Blender

Finally figured out how to destroy completely an helicopter with metal deformations using Blender, so I made a short VFX action sequence out of it!

Notes:
- requires having RBD Lab addon for Blender
- the full tutorials explain how to make a complete destruction setup for a helicopter model, doesnt include also the smoke part (which is made in Embergen) and the entire work of compositing in real footage ( but yet, on patreon you can find other separated tutorials about tracking that you can apply for this purpose if needed ).
For this work I used a lot of powerful tools, such as:
- Blender, main 3d software
- Embergen, for the main smoke simulation
- ProductionCrate, for loads of stock elements such as sparks, muzzleflash, etc..
- RBD Lab addon for Blender, for destruction simulations
- GEOTRACKER addon, for easy multiple objects tracking
