Blessings and thank you for the great info, is this the same order for a 2006 ford explorer Eddie Bauer edition v6, cause I have code P0303 cylinder 3 misfire and I was going to change the spark plug and wire, any opinion is helpful. Thank you much and God Bless
So the chinese slave that made this piece of crap pump didn't include assembly instructions and none of the parts seem to fit together. God I hate DIY crap.
WOW that's one great job better than great u just saved me a ton of money thats the fastest and easiest way I've ever seen a valve job done u r well let me say u made it look so easy ive never done a valve job R & R heads plenty but ive been putting this off for 5 months but tomorrow im jumping right on it and changing the motor mounts ive put off for a yr. MOTIVATION is wat ugave me Thank u so much ill follow u thumbs up every day u deserve it.
Can't get it to work with the tool im thinking i should bevel the tool some..seems it's just pushing the spring back not lifting it any..pissn me off! Probably better off just make my own lol. It's coming off i may have to buy a grenade!
If the primary tensioner flattens, can the chain jump a tooth ? A few days back I started up and clak, rattle, and missing. I'm in the process of checking all tensioner cause I tried a cam sensor to no avail and no codes !
One thing to look at prior to all this is if you have play in the valve guides. You can lap all you want if the guides are bad your still going to have a bad seal but still be able to pass a water test.
Thanks for the great video. How much do you think a valve replacement would be on a 2012 Buick Enclave 3.6? I have a ticking every once in awhile but getting worse over time
Thanks, EricTheCarGuy had a nice tool to hammer the springs and retainiers. It has a magnet that cathches the retainers. Check that video out too. Now I need how to do the seals.
I'm looking to rebuild my carburetor and this doesn't look to bad, but how do you remember where all the fuel lines go? theres so many of them! i also don't understand adjusting the carburetor so that it runs right in the water. guess i still have quite a bit of learning to do
