I like that you show examples of how it’s gonna be like if we cut against or not against the grains. I was cracking my head so much on the differences between those two when cooked. Your recipe is my GO TO dessert ALWAYS for church, funerals… EVERYTHING. . I take mine out 10 minutes early and CAREFULLY add either pecans OR walnuts on top. THEN PUT IT BACK IN FOR 10 to 15 minutes with them on top. Be careful not to break the top of it so do t add too many (weight). I love it with the nuts. For me it’s too sweet with a topping. BLESS YOU! I can not cook ANYTHING and this has made me a star in my community lol. It’s PERFECTION!!
If you cook your bacon at a lower temperature, your grease will come out chunk-free and white as snow. You should see my bacon grease jar, it's glorious.
I'm over in east alabama north of Auburn. Here, fried corn is done in the oven. My mom would add water and probably margerine. Not sure if it was here way or if it's routinely done around here. Guess that's more like creamed corn.
MSG is terrible for you. Leads to cancer and neurological disorders like dementia in addition to many other health problems. This dressing might taste good but it's all the junk in most recipes which lead me to making my own. Mine is amazing and I obviously do not use glutamates.
Coming from a real Brooklyn NYC Born and Raised Italian where we make the BEST Italian food besides Italy. Accent alone your from out of town. My Recipe is Authentic and we have access to the best imported Italian Meats and Cheeses so I get it makes a world of a difference. Never ever use Pillsbury for this type or dish unless there is nothing else. I make my own dough or Ready Made AUTHENTIC DOUGH from a real Italian Supermarket. With what you have where you live definitely did not come out bad at all 👏 👏
