I have read the entirety of the Sookie Stackhouse novels 7 times going through my 8th. I have never re-read a series this much. I have many opinions😂 I have tried to get so many people to read them with me I have bought multiple people the first three books in hopes that they do decide to read them one day.. I want a book club or friends that read books, so much😅
I was super excited for this one & kind of disappointed by the end papers. I liked the art, but I’m not sure if it was a design choice or not but I felt like it was so dark you couldn’t even see details… loved everything else about it though 😍
It was honestly a 3 star read for me. The protagonist was very passive, none of the relationships were actually important for the plot except Sidriel, but then nothing comes out of that. How disappointing. The relationship with Autumn was just unnecessary, very flat. Ending and all, just not what i was expecting. Do you have any book recommendations for this type of genre but more of a good read?
If you’re looking for “Immortal falls in love with a human”, I would recommend “The Serpent and the Wings of Night”. Think Hunger Games, but with spice. My second one would be “A Fall of Ruin and Wrath”. It’s about a courtesan who falls in love with an immortal Lord who saved her as a child. The spice starts pretty quickly if you’re okay with that and the chemistry between the two love interests is unmatched.
I love that you have All the Tides of Fate on display, I really enjoyed that duology. Happy reading for Magical Readathon, I can't wait to get started! :D
The moment she told him to go away and boom he gets a peanut butter sandwich again had me laughing so hard. But I’m absolutely #teamAdam&#TeamHolly. This has easily became one of my favorite books.
Hey! I know it’s been sooo long since you posted this video, but I was wondering if you may know where else I could buy this book signed (and that ships it worldwide)? It’s not available on rare bird anymore… :(
If you really love Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s a novelization of the film, but of course we get to see more into Sally and Jack’s heads. When I saw it was being published, I HAD to add it to my collection.
I want a black cat so badly so I can name it Binx…or Salem. When my roommate lived with me, we had a cat named Jinx. She wouldn’t let me name her Binx. 😞
@@between_the_pages We didn't actually name him he is a rescue they had monthly themes and it was movies the lady liked it so that was his new name although I rarely call him binx I call him binky he's gorgeous and the sweetest little cat you could ever meet he is short haired black and white he had been run over and nobody wanted him nice to talk to you.
I’ve always connected more to Ashley because he grew up in Missouri and my family is from Missouri. He also has a degree in Fashion Design and my degree is in Fashion Merchandising. So I feel like we could be friends lol.
I usually don't leave RU-vid comments, but I do want to chime in on the usage of "Hinterlands" here in LLtPQ. Ernshaw did not come up with that for this universe. The Hinterlands are what the woods surrounding Halloweentown are called in the game "Oogie's Revenge" which came out in 2004. It's been used frequently in the fandom as well, due to its use in the game (which was called an official sequel to the movie at the time) Hinterlands is a general term which means an uncharted area or a land beyond what's been explored. It was not coined by the Author of The Hazelwood series either.
I didn’t know that. As much as I love Nightmare Before Christmas, I’m more of a casual fan and don’t really engage in the fandom so I didn’t know that was an accepted term.
Four years later and I can confidently say that I am doing a re-watch/re-read of True Blood and the Southern Vampire Mysteries. The first video should be out in a week or two!
@@between_the_pages well for the stories sake they could have used buddy Holly or someone in his place. They have creative ways of going around that. They change other things completely why not that? It was comic relief in the book. Could have been the same on screen too. But I digress. Thanks for responding.
I was actually kinda happy it came in September, much better Dark Academia vibes that August!!!😄 Lol I thought the bookmark was an ornament too 😂 Great video! Hope you're having a Wonderful day my BookTube friend!💕😊💕
Is The Book Any Good?!? Don't care about what you watch on TV. Book!!! Scary bits!!!! Is it a teen crapfest or not? If it's anything like Ann Rice (gay vampires) or Twilight (completely gay) that would be nice to know. Is it completely horrorshow like Necroscope, or is it a niche market like Poppy Z. Brite? Inquiring minds want to know!
I liked the book, but I’m not sure if it’s because I loved the TV show. It’s certainly not YA fiction, so it’s nothing like Twilight. I’ve never read Anne Rice, so I’m not sure about that.
My thoughts back then and my thoughts now remain the same. I’m still upset with how things were handled and how the guys don’t seem to be supporting Ashley at all (Ash has also been throwing some shade on his Instagram). I made this video because I knew I couldn’t be the only one struggling with the news and everything.
Exacly , bvb hasn't shown or supported Ashley in any way shape or form. They basically threw him under the bus and forgot his was in the band. Like it's been 2 3 years and I still feel hurt on how they handle it x
It's very hard to support someone when you can't legally say the name of the person or mention him in any way. Also if you want to see how bad it got for them look up Andy talking about Vale and that time of the band. No hate to Ashley but it was healthier for both of them from what he was saying.
You are the first Booktube I’ve come across that is into the Tudors etc! Me too! I have a huge collection of books pertaining to the Tudors, Plantagenets, Elizabeth I, Mary QOS, etc. 😍
