I agree! Her writing is beautiful and atmosphere which I love. However, Wyatt is stupid. Weird, unexplainable things are happening around her, and she's acting like everything is normal. Wyatt is like, oh creepy cloaked man, you knew my father come right into my house it's cool that's all of the information I need. Are you with the other creepy cloaked men hanging around my gate making veiled threats at me? Welcome. Haha. I don't think she has any shred of self-preservation. Also, because I'm a mom, I couldn't help seeing my kids when reading this which made me so angry.
