Kwasi Pratt don't be a liar. Free education which was Primary and Middle School didn't start in 1951. It actually started in 1960 when it was mandated that every school going child should start elementary school. I started elementary school in 1957 and my grandmother was paying my fees not until 1960. The then free education was from primary 1 - 10 and then after your next level of Secondary School (SHS) was in the hands of your parents to see you through after you pass the then Common Entrance Examination which was pre-requisite to go to SHS. It was only our Northern folks who had free Primary, Middle and SHS. It was discriminatory doing by the then CPP government led by Kofi Ngolomah aka Kwame Nkrumah by his own parochial agenda against the Southerners. Many poor talented people were left behind who could have been great men/women in their era. Nkrumah was the worst president the country have had considering the fact that, the colonial government left huge sum of money for our new nation but Nkrumah was spending the money like a sailor on an anchored ship.
Appiah Kubi is entitled to his opinion, but majority of party members and supporters prefer NAPO. Appiah Kubi, by his pronouncements shows he prefers a genteel and cool person, someone he can walk up to and prevail over. What he fails to realize is, Bawumia is the main man and already has those qualities he is looking for. We need to counterbalance that with the hatchet man. Somebody who can kick ass and get the job done. A no nonsense guy who can bring to bear the awesome powers of the presidency on non performing ministers to shape up or shape out. And that is what you get with NAPO. Ghanafuo aso yɛ den. Bebiree yɛ akrɔnfuo. They would take Bawumi’s calm demeanour for weakness and begin to misbehave. So that is why you need Napo.
