Tho looks small the pods look clean. Clean kitchen. The shelter does not look bad. When negative usually because they have behaviour issues. I live not far from place where people can get shower and food. They get ban because behaviour thats why they might be negative to the place you went to pods . If i was on street's and i so hope i never get to that position the pods looked clean and look like be safe i would be really grateful for that. Specially being homeless in a city there always dangers. Where i live in smaller place to bath there a lot of homeless and its just not safe be on the streets for various reasons. A lot have mental health, drug and alcohol issues here tho. I think why people don't engage because people are scared of that and thats why. Then people dont use people just presume they are.
Sad what Croydon has become and sad for living on the streets 😞😭😭 looks scummy and rough its sad 😭i use to love Croydon in 1990's was Always going over there i never felt unsafe then Croydon was different and its sad to see how its become.
I’m 15 minutes in and this guy has just spoken about bangleshis for 15 mins. Interviewing drug addicts. Feels more like some kind of propaganda than a fun bit of exploration.
Love the island ,but last time i visited public toilets by shsnklin chine were disgusting also on the front.public toilets also in Sandown were terrible ,such a shame
I live not too far from Walsall and just like the people in the video elude to, the problem is troublemaking youth. They are into everything bad and have no respect for anyone or anything, even other peoples property. You don't really want nice things here even if you can afford it, makes yourself a target. Can blame governments and councils sure, but there's a deeply sick underlying culture that has to be addressed, even their music tells them to zombie knife your "opp".
Some hard-core racists follow this channel I thought he seemed quite open minded but had to unsubscribe after reading the hate down here. To all of you with brains rotted by the internet they want you to blame immigrants by design while the chasm between normal people and the wealthy gross exponentially. But you enjoy your great replacement theory while those doing the damage lost record profits to accounts in the Cayman islands
High crime. Very overcrowded (Lots of flats always being built / Residential roads & driveways packed with cars - Wasn't like this 10+ years ago). High Street depressing (Fast food shops / Pound shops / Pawn shops / Betting shops). Litter. Rats. Lots of rude, stupid, thoughtless & anti-social people (Even the middle-class people are like this). Incompetent council (Was £800m+ in debt / Wasteful of money). Lots of voters who always vote Labour, even immediately after the £800m+ debt announcement. Standard of driving really bad. Lots of groups hanging around on the street. Druggies & drug dealers frequently seen.
Your a laugh. " young people have forgotten " No the older people did not teach and sold it all away cheap. "Trying to get young people more interested" I bet ya they are more interested than you think but again been let down by the ones before them. Im not even young myself but this nonsense that somehow people have just been born with a default grown ignorance is ridiculious and its us older folk that need to take a look at ourselves.
You talk about the housing problem etc. then blow those squatter's cover, and go round telling the locals 'Do you know there's squatters in there?'. Might have done them a favour and kept it quiet?
these are not rough pubs, you are not a nice guy for using his face as the thumbnail tbh, your content is weak.... and you promote a german ran home delivery meal company most if not all the people your interviewed cannot afford. sad little man
Its a labour town look at all labour towns they are full of gangs corruption and they're shit holes like Londonistan Handsworth Smethwick walsall sandwell anywhere that is labour run is a shit hole vote reform
I visited the IOW about 12 years ago with my 8 year old granddaughter. Apart from a nice Nat Trust property, I was so disappointed. There were no nice shops at all, and when we went into a popular thatched roof cottage tea~room, the scones were horrible, cheap and tasteless tea, and when I used the ladies room, all they had was one small hand towel that was soaking wet from being used all day. Yuk. It just all looked so run down, no one seemed to be making any effort to provide quality service for anyone let alone tourists. I’ve never been again.
If you had booked your ferry crossing when you booked your hotel it would be have been free. So the cost of the ferry is not really the cause of the problem of the lack of visitors. But thanks for the vid.
There are more middle class rappers per capita, than there are homeless. This is the real issue that needs addressed, these poor, hopeless souls are a continuing disappointment to their doctor/solicitor parents, despite getting their merch into a local skateshop and having a semi successful grow-op 😂
As a small town boy, moving to London was quite terrifying - hearing all the stories of all these so called rough "no-go" areas. The reality couldn't be further from the truth. Even though I now live in a decently well-to-do part of London, I still frequently go out boozing in Tower Hamlets (was there last night!). Often find some of the 'rough' pubs are the best places for a fun night out. In the 20 years since I came, I've been witness to literally 2 minor incidents of handbags. Go out in the town where I'm from and there was almost always a fight every week between the brain dead puffed up little Englanders.
I've lived in Croydon for nearly 20 years. IMO Croydon is a leafy suburb. I was born in a much rougher area of london. Never had any problems anywhere in London, and I've been walking about late at night coming home from pubs, clubs in all kinds of states. I still walk through Croydon after the pubs shut. Perhaps the younger generations are just not as hard as me, a flabby 59 year old bloke, 5ft 6?
The people who bought the ocean hotel are probably just waiting to sell to developers so it can be demolished and turned into luxury flats that no one on the island can afford.
