Hello, so I'm a newbie to candle making. I prefer beeswax or maybe a blend. What would be a new home owner fragrance, since my cousin sells real-estate? Thanks😊
Ooh there are some great options for that! I'd recommend White Tea, Himalayan Bamboo, Glacier Lily, Se Salt and Orchid, or Sea Minerals. If you wanted to check out the Fragrance Oil Finder on the site, there is a "spa" section and many of the scent there would work great for open houses!
When I clamp the wick to the tab the metal warps at the bottom. I'm wondering if I need a different tool to clamp? I use a similar plier, one with grooves and thicker. Maybe it makes it warp? Maybe its the tabs I get? Thoughts? Would love the help <3
Thanks for the video! I wanted to ask, how do you make the top layer completely even? I spray rubbing alcohol and the surface turns out slightly bumpy.
Unfortunately, because we do not carry wood wicks we have not done much testing with them in these jars. The diameter of the jars will be on the product pages though and could be used to help choose a wood wick for testing from your supplier!
Hello? Hi CS, The year 1991 just called and wants its 464 soy wax back ;)😂 Just playing... but also being real ...look at your lovely new place and your lonely cabinet full of 464 ...when you are literally surrounded by inspirational, luxurious, new fangled waxes, so please! Be a BOSS and show us all how to ditch the dark candle wax ages and kick ole 464 to da curb! It's time is OVA, or at least taking a proper break. The new day of candle wax phenom blends has arrived and scientists have only just begun to learn what interesting newly applied ingredients the candle making future holds. If you need 1 basic wax to keep the same baseline for all testing then Use your new CS wax ALL the time!! CS gave us those cool 1 lb pour bags and made it so Anyone can afford to try a lb of this new wax, so anyone will purchase a lb and follow along with your candle making vids to the tee! Can't do that with your 464, you gotta buy a whole slab, making it not accessible to all. Or be the Taylor Swift of the candle world and shake things up! You have the CS exclusive manufacturers polyester paraffin like blend, MP 117 so you give it some air time. I mean, what a fine exclusive catch for CS and a very interesting wax...OR spotlight the REAL BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, IGI 6046 coconut paraffin! Sublime! Lets see what that wax can do too! I'd love to see more vids about all these more progressive waxes. Even paraffin is having a rennaisance bc it's upcycling a oil problem and making it into light for the world. Beauty from ashes. For real, the world is trending away from the exclusively soy based waxes and are experimenting to find the elusive Holy Grail of waxes, one thats locally and sustainably soyrced in North America, a truly good for the planet, beautiful, creamy love wax with kiss yo momma cold throw and slap yo momma Hot throw:) So the chemists are just getting their bunson burners started. 😂 For better or for worse. Put baby 464 in the corner. Embrace. that. change!
