Safety tip- when unhitching your van, always remove the chains last. If the van tries to move at least the chains will stop it moving too far. Cheers Joel
Thank you for watching! One of Mr Br’s favourite shop and also available online ! Military Shop Canberra $34.95 if your ex-veteran they do offer discount 🤩 hope to see you episode!
Oh wow! We thought shit had really hit the fan with the van at first!! Then you had a battery prob 😢 but as you say as do we, its better that it happened here and not on the road, anyway we are so happy for you cause you have had a rough trot since we started watching you. Love you guys and looking forward to your next adventure ❤and as you say Mr B - 'go on adventures, have fun and always, always be safe' 👍 Lyn & Bob
Glad to see you are both OK, and that the young fella is also OK. Interested to know if you sold up everything to start this journey, or do you have a home base to go back to?
Thanks for watching! We sold everything so no house to come back to stayed with family after we got back to QLD after the accident, payout only took 4days with RACQ for us to buy another home on wheels! Legals are still on going for the young fella and his BIG 💵 BILL but lucky he survived without a scratch ! Alcohol Drugs & lack of sleep are a Killer 🫣
@@gooddifferentadventures Thanks for the reply. My wife and I are thinking seriously about going back on the road. We tried once before, but because they closed the borders during Covid, we were restricted to bouncing off the NSW borders. So we decided to settle down again. But itchy feet have us planning our next - hopefully full time - adventure.
Guys the nightmare starts now. My son is a builder and has 2 XR6 utes . One kitted out for work and the other he worked on for years as a show car . Parked on the road in a row .A young guy came around the cnr and smashed head on into his work Ute ,ramming his work Ute into his show car. Both were written off.The guy had a couple of minor marks on him from the airbags .As he was pissed he wasn’t insured. That was 18months ago . My son is just getting back on his feet. RACQ turned into a nightmare (the guy got 12months suspended license and 60hrs community service. Good luck guy’s the secret is to call Racq and the panel beaters daily for a update. ❤
Thanks for watching! Wow now that a story so sorry to hear. We were extremely lucky to be alive to start with and second RACQ paid us out in full within 4 days. We are very grateful and loving our new home on wheels 🤩 hope all goes well for you all 🙌
With wats being going on in yar past its like the big fella upstairs is looking out for u 😇🙏 normally if you got 2 agm batteries if one shits it's self you replace both but with lithium batteries can you only replace one 🤔
If you're wanting to lighten your load of those lovely light Thai pants that I commented on I'd be more than happy to take some off your hands as long as the have "Fat Lass" on the tag :)
Welcome home. I’ve loved your Thailand videos. Looking forward to following your travels in the new van. I agree Mrs B - slow & steady. It will take time to get used to the new setup.
Thanks for watching! We have had a full upgrade suspension and airbags recommended definitely for full time travelling so many people are towing overweight with no upgrades and accident awaiting to happen 🫣
wow, what an adventure that was, glad you guys made it through this and looking forward to your adventures. Good coverage and bravo to Mr B for not losing it on camera. You both have been through alot. Hope no injuries are still there.
Thanks for watching 🤩in theory that would have been great but unfortunately caravan workshops are so much and can’t store vans for a month 🫣the joys of living FULLTIME in a caravan
loved your holiday away - saw so much that I have never seen before -- felt for you when you said goodbye to your mum -- it is hard eh -- but the adventure lies ahead for you both now -- safe travels and will catch you up on the road for your next trip.
So enjoying this show, Your doing everything that I wanted to do after I retired Two years ago, BUT due to my illness ( IBM ) I no longer will ever be able to manage it So again thanks for showing us every thing your doing as I've been living it with you for giving me some uplift PS: for the NEGITIVE people as you say Switch OFF go somewhere else and be a PAIN
Just found your channel when you caravan accident popped up in my feed. Love your travel adventures. I've been binge watching now. Keep up the wonderful adventures ❤
Another awesome video Mrs B did you buy some neck rings as that would add some being while you are travelling 😂 The plane museum and feeding the elephants 🐘 was amazing
love your videos --- i have only ever travelled to NZ so I find your adventures really awesome and eye opening -- i love the way you both include your viewers and makes us feel we are along for the ride. Where you are -- and I cannot spell it - so will say North Thailand is rather beautiful. Very different from Qld eh. I love Qld but the scenery here is lovely and the food looks great.
wow you are in Thailand -- will have to go back on your videos as i did not expect you to be there. I love your videos. hope the knee is going ok. you both always look so happy - it makes it so fun to watch you both.
hey guys, :) I had my wife go through our insurance thankfully all good :), our driving speed with van, 90-95 kms, we also let any trucks coming up behind know we see them and we slow down and move over, they are on a schedule we aren't, we only drive a max of 2 to 2.5 hours, no rush, and I have to say you get to see so much more, and get to support a town we stay at whether it's behind a pub, or parkup area.. Hopefully we will see you guys somewhere :)) be safe.
I enjoyed listrening to you both - i watched the accident one and wondered what happened to you both. So glad you are now all rigged out again -- looking forward to watching you in the future. You just popped up on my utube so was pleased to see have found you both. Best of luck for the future and am looking forward to your new venture.
Thank you for your kind words we are just about to hit the road again all our new mods are completed on the Hilux & the new van is ready for adventure! Hope to see you next episode 🙌
