The weird enemy behavior at the rough 27:00 mark seems to be a somewhat common thing? Maybe? I was playing it on I Am Death Incarnate, during the revisit to get the Battle Walker, and all of the enemies faced towards me as they walked. Twas very bizarre.
That's a strong feeling. I definitely see why people wouldn't care about achievements, but hating them for the reason you stated makes it sound like all devs make them for a malicious reason. I think it's fun to have a ledger of all the tasks I completed. It's like a journal of all the things that I felt were worthwhile to do. If the game isn't enjoyable, then I ignore them. If their existence makes games less enjoyable for you, then I'm sorry to hear that
@@morgansbasement They do, on the same level of annoyance I have to people who rev their engines. They like it, I get that...but the fact that it's up in MY face too, that's obnoxious. Achievements should be something you have to opt into, and if you don't, you never see them.
@@adamb89 how? They’re not in your face just ignore it, you can turn off game notifications if they’re that bothersome. For me achievements make games much more enjoyable.
If your taking requests you should do Dont Starve Together!! it doesn't really have achievements because how the creators wanted the game (except Xbox does) but its a super fun game.
It's definitely different. Laso is longer for sure, but one mistake in this game could cost you 4 hours. Since there's no saves and you have to do it in 1 sitting, it's definitely more daunting than doing the laso runs IMO
I know it's made by Obsidian, but since all the Fallout/Elder Scrolls games are similar, I was referring to not letting big hills or hard enemies stop you from following the shortest path between 2 locations haha
This difficulty is only really punishing at the beginning of the game when your broke, I recommend having at 6-9 (lol) luck taking the black mountain route to new Vegas n ply black Jack tell your filthy rich makes it a little bit easier earlier on also hit nepten asap n get “that gun” u can steal it for free. with a high luck it’s honestly lowkey one of the best guns n the game
There are definitely some hard achievements in slasher games, but I would say you'd have a hard time making a top 25 hardest achievement list (for xbox) without this bad boy on there
that was fun to watch it, thank you for sharing. but "mein leben" is from the first Wolfenstein, if you killed a blue soldier they yelled "mein leben" back in the days you heard this only if you had a soundcard in your system. pc speaker sound forever....
when i beat poh i gave up recording cause i lost so much. i finally did it and grabbed my phone and filmed the shakiest recording of the last shots at abs rad. seeing you do it gave me that same feeling. great video on my favorite game of all time.
I did mein leben on my 3rd try. I really dont get why people are getting so hyped about this. Its arguably easier than an ultra nightmare run on doom eternal for example
There are some VERY nice Hardcore overhaul mods in the community that truly take the challenge to a new level and still stay very "lore friendly". Try them out sometime! I recomend the "JSawyer Mod", it was made by lead New Vegas director Josh Sawyer himself, as a "Director's Cut" of sorts. There's also the "JSawyer Ultimate" version that incorporates previously cut content into the core experience. Fantastic stuff.
