As someone who has gone through the completion process of Hollow Knight about two or three times. I couldn't help but chuckle and nod in agreement to some things said in this video. There are some extra levels of pain you could do like fighting all the bosses in the Hall of Gods at Radiant difficulty but getting 112% along with all the achievements is a big enough triumph. Good freaking job!

Oh Colosseum of fools, my biggest hurdle on my way to completion so far. I spent hours stuck on trial of fools. I feel your pain, but at the same time I'm somewhat glad to see someone else struggle on it aswell lmao. With that said, time to spend hours upon hours in pantheon, but honestly it feels less frustrating to grind. Great video bruv! It's always fun to watch someone's first playthrough of HK and compare it to my own experience!

Just subscribed been enjoying the videos dude. I love Hollow Knight played through a bunch of times. Took me a while but I finally got all achievements on my Nintendo switch. beating absolute radiance at the peak of pantheon 5 is one of my fondest gaming memories. and the whole vibe of the game is perfect its a masterpiece.

This is such a cool video. My favourite thing about Hollow Knight is how satisfying it is to finally defeat a boss you’ve put what feels like hundreds of attempts into. My first save file took me 70 hours and I only reached about 80% completion during that time (I kept getting lost and dying at the beginning lol) but you feel like you’ve achieved so much by the end. I can only imagine how amazing the feeling is to 112% the game and win all achievements. You’re making me want to try it out just from the look on your face at the end 😭 well done.

It took me 35 tries to beat Hornet the first times, I almost quit. When the Dreamers appeared, I realized how much bigger the story was going to be and that I loved it.

I got to the Watcher Knights and after something like 20-50 attempts I gave up the game. I thought about going back, but listening to your commentary I realise that I simply don't receive any dopamine from beating hard bosses. The moments I enjoy are story beats and art design. The fighting is something I do to get to those. So I don't think I'll go back.

Amazing video! What an accomplishment to do this, but just saying there is some optional stuff that is not needed for the 112% completion and achievements stuff like the weathered mask and void idols ( i think that's what they are called). But besides that this game is incredible and it pains me that I never got that void ending.

if you die to a flying enemy, either you have a skill issue, or they're too far to reach still, good vid also, there's a secret animation for the godhome ending if you give the guy in junk pit a delicate flower

It took me over 100h to fully complete the game and defeat every boss on Radiant. It was my 3rd game to 100% achivements on Steam. Huge GZ, man! This game totally deserves to 100% it!

Great job! Also, it’s kinda interesting that you refer to attacks that follow the player as “heat seeking.” I’d imagine the knight being pretty cold because he’s made of void.

I always get a sense of satisfaction seeing people completing this game. I loved it so much that I radianted all the bosses and am trying to do all the pantheon's on all bindings. P5 is just so hard. But the game is so worth it

25:57 so fun fact! It's funny you mention skipping the pantheons because getting the god tuner (the item you get from the start of that dlc) counts as 1%. You didn't need to do any pantheons you could've just grabbed that item and dipped

The hollow knight is such a great boss because if you go directly to them, they’re a phenomenal challenge worthy of final boss, while if you intend to get the best ending, they’re a cakewalk on the way to the radiance.

I see around 10:05 that you had thorns of agony equipped against hornet, thorns is known in the community to be a lesser value charm, it kinda locks you in place when you’re hit, burning up crucial invincible frames for our knight, obviously you got through it so congrats!! but just something I noticed!

Y'know, I've beaten the game and gotten all the achivements, so when i saw the title of the video i just kinda expected a bad modern "challenge" video à la mr beast or videos trying to replicate them about a game i love and already know about, but this is way better and I really like this style and throughly enjoyed the video. The first (and only, lol) time I beat AbsRad in the pantheon I had to walk a couple laps around the dorm building to wear off the lingering adrenaline. Sigrun is the hardest single boss I've ever fought, but AbsRad is right up there with her even disregarding the 45 minute gauntlet

I was also surprised about the percentage of players getting the success : on Steam, Embrace the Void is at 4.9% and here it s less than 1%

As someone who did a no hit of every boss in the game except Markoth I can confirm he is the hardest boss in the game. (if you want to fall in love with a game and suffer at the same time in this series I cant recommend Celeste enough)

The fact remains you still havent seen every challenge in this game. Outside of radiant bosses in hall of gods and pantheon bindings, there's a few challenges that arent covered by achievements in the game. Path of Pain, an even harder platforming challenge hidden in the white palace. You can refight White defender 5 times and Grey Prince Zote 10 times and they get harder each time (tbf for this one the radiant versions of those fights are still the hardest versions but as you fight them over and over stuff changes Bretta gets more disillusioned to Zotes lies the more you beat him and Dung Defender wakes up and opens up about his past if you finish all 5 WD fights.) Finally theres the eternal ordeal a hidden challenge in hall of gods that is an infinite gauntlet of zotelings if you can reach 57 kills you get rewarded with a menu theme. I swear the amount of content in this game with its excellent platforming content lore art and music. It's just so perfect
