In Yonkers NY site there is Hipaa and OSCHA violations, regulation and laws are not applied at this location. My friend had to leave his night shift job after his criminal record had been exposed by his boss to his coworkers. Shame on you UPS. He just needed a job!!
Best DIAD I ever used. Started on DIAD II and had a paper tablet with carbon paper as a backup back then, but this was my favorite and last DIAD I ever used. Left driving after 20 years to work the Ramp.
The teamsters vs. sups is real. That kind of energy i cant stand. I understand both sides of the coin. Gotta find balance between doing whats required vs. your well being/work conditions. Thanks, Chris!
Funny you mention Amazon. Your truck is parked outside all the time? Just started driving. Super nervous, any and all help is appreciated. Thanks for your wisdom, Chris!
Great video! I just hope that AI won't take your job. Remember, those people in the upper management only care about profits and their XMas bonus. So sad 😮
Hey Chris, great channel. As a household / business that receives a lot of packages -- what are some things we could do to make delivery driver's days go better? Is there like a top-20 list of things that make your job easier like clearing a cluttered driveway? Cheers
Fun fact I dont work for UPS, my first job was working at USPS though, but they used a different scanner, sadly I moved foward in my life and work somewhere different, I still have my USPS ID badge though I wear it behind my current ID badge I use for work I still get nostalgic when I see it, I remember all the times getting called by my supervisor doing overtime! 😂 But the reason I'm actually here on this video is because I decided to check someones channel and the only thing they had on their channel was a playlist labeled "career" and the first video is about cyber security which seemed normal but then the rest of the videos make no sense, like alternate snacks from an alternate universe to, NBA 2k tips and tricks, to this video which intrigued me and was actually very informative compared to the scanners we used in USPS, since in USPS they use a android OS if you didn't know!
Just left express after 3 years on Friday in hopes to start a life long career at UPS. Snagged a seasonal driver spot! Passed my drivers test and headed to courier school for the week next week. Hoping to get hired on full time after seasonal as I’ve been told I’m an above average worker. Let’s go!
Do you start as a driver from base salary or does you working in the warehouse 4 yrs count as well?? Will that enable top pay or does it begin as a driver then 4 years than top pay!!!!
The only stress is management. This is by far the easiest job I've ever had. Tell management to go scratch and your life at work will be so much better.
Just passed the road test. Now now I have training in 2 days. This helps with my anxiety and helps me focus on the present. Thank You for this video. I plan in staying with ups as a full time career. I hope they will keep me fulltime after peek season.
I've tried a lot of work boots I'm a foodservice delivery driver nothing last past 6 months. I'm just order a pair of keen and also brunt if I can get a year out of a shoe I would be happy.
I don't know if it is still the same as when I was a driver back in the 90's, but neither UPS or the Teamsters contributed to my 401-k. It was all on me.
