A signing that could fit Liverpool really well if we play a double pivot is Veerman from PSV. He has really showed his class this season for PSV and he would be a perfect fit
We would like to get in touch with you. You are violating the rules. You are using our name and logo. You do not have the right to use them. We request that you change the name and logo. Thank you in advance!
I here your argument about Jones but if anyone is getting into that midfield under Slot, it's definitely Gravenberch. He's the perfect utility man in midfield and can play 6 and 8 well. He's also tall which I would imagine can be beneficial in the air.
Man honestly your content sucks, how the fck would you know what the new manager has planned for a player he has yet to meet, and looking through your channel a lot of your videos are just speculated garbage sold as facts
Playing Núñez in his preferred position upfront in a 4-2-3-1 formation will make all the difference this season. Can't wait to see the goals pour in and watch all the doubters eat their words.
Changing the side a CB defends usually leads to catastrophe. I'd never do that with Virgil, but instead I'd build around him. Also, Jones is a terrible defender. He can sometimes press, but he is very slow tracking back and in a 4-2-3-1 he would not have a DM to cover him. Also, he not creative, he is just a sideways passer. 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, Liverpool need a very good DM or at least someone with the characteristics of a DM. Finally, I'm very skeptical about Slot changing to 4-2-3-1 because it requires the wingers to be even more proactive defensively, and Salah won't ever do that, especially at 32. If I had to bet, Slot will keep the 4-3-3, but change the buildup and maybe put Arnold in midfield.
Cannot see Slot employing a 4-2-3-1 with Salah off the right-wing. Defensively that is a nightmare waiting to happen & the right-hand side is already susceptible. I think you will see Szoboszlai or Elliott continue to cover Salah there from midfield & just shift over one with Salah joining the No9 to provide that 4-4-2 defensively. I have a feeling Slot is going to retain the 4-3-3 with two, technically creative 8’s forming part of the front five with strikers & the full-backs playing deeper. I like the way Elliott & Mac Allister played in the last few games of the campaign as both had licence to get forward & into/around the penalty area & join in with the strikers.
Who was the best DM in the matches between Liv-Ars, League Cup final and Liv-115 FC? A hint: It was not Rice, not Caicedo/Enzo or Rodri/De Bryne. The same player who had a major impact from Dec onwards, The same player who un-lock Maca to let him play in his favorite position. The same player is now all of sudden ”just” a squad player. Wow, how fast people forget.
Agreed! People don’t see the quality and consistency that he brings. I’d start him as much as possible. I’d even put Gravenberch next to him in a double pivot with Macca playing 10. You get an eager-to-tackle Endo who will give the ball to an eager-to-advance Gravenberch, who will allow an eager-to-assist Macca to find those incisive passes. Endo-Ryan- Macca Endo-Szobo- Macca Endo-Jones- Macca Keep Endo in!
Here's my LFC transfer window this summer: Sell: Luis Diaz, Sepp van den Berg, Caoimhin Kelleher, Kostas Tsimikas, Nat Phillips, Rhys Williams, Billy Kometio, Anderson Arroyo. James Balagizi Buy: Willian Pacho, Ederson, Antonee Robinson, Bryan Mbuemo
you didnt mention Hancko as possible left foot defender. if there is 1 player from Feyenoord that can handle liverpool level it's Hancko. Wieffer i actually have doubts about if he can manage at a top team in england i actually think he isn't fast enough for it
Because we have Matip who has left, Konate injury prone we have Thiago that left, no right back replacement if Trent goes infield, no replacement period for Mo if he's injured or out of form, we have struggled with squad depth and system requires incoming players. Plenty reasons there
Luckily we've always employed a no dickhead policy, so I can't see it being a problem. Also with him being Dutch and already having the captain big Virgil on his side, the rest will fall in line.
im a newer liverpool fan from canada, so forgive me if i sound stupid but what about bajetic? is he returning, was he good and didnt he play dm or was it more attacking? would he fit in under slot?
He is probably fit for next season, but it would be too risky to rely on a young injury prone player. Signing someone would also take the pressure of him. But he is definitly someone slot will be looking for
Curtis Jones as a CDM isn't a great idea. His game management is terrible, always holds the ball too long then loses it. We need another CDM, Endo has been good but only a stop gap player.
@@CaptainShu He quite clearly is, go look back at Atalanta or other game where he is pressed, he completely struggled technically, a good squad player who can do the job, but not someone you want to start.
@@resolute7177 Just read this lol.Liverpool are plotting to sign a new defensive midfielder, with Japan international Wataru Endo, 31, viewed only as a stop-gap player.
Liverpool's standards, set under Shanks and Paisley, were to win the Title or UCL, and winning neither is a failure of a season. Those are our traditional standards. My fear is FSG, represented by Edwards and his cabal, are going to go all cheap again, settling for decent players to compete but not the top-class talents a team needs to dominate. We need someone like Bruno Guimaraes for our DM role and an Antonio Silva for CB. It's clear Liverpool needs to strengthen the spine of the team; they were just too easy to play through.
@Frserthegreenengine It's not one or the other. Even Arsenal have outspent Liverpool, and it showed! Neither have they breached FFP. So don't fall for the myth
@@oab1598 Arsenal created debt and have been deep in the red for 3-4 seasons, which means they are strapped, and would need to offload players to free up funds to make transfers. We aren't in that position. Arsenal are likely in a position where they need to sell Partey and Smith-Rowe, if not more. Arsenal spent money to rebuild a new team, while Klopp seamlessly made transitions over last couple of years, where many left on a free. You are comparing apples and oranges. We paid for Anfield expansion and state of the art training facility, and held a responsible strategy during Covid where many teams went for broke and were basically saved by leniency of Covid rules. This means we have not been forced to offload players and could get the players we wanted without breaking the bank. LFC were the only club that repaid loans to their owners in a 5 year stretch, all others repaid zero. Money that needs to be repaid at some point.
Slot doesn't have to do anything with the team. Its solid. What he has to do is figure how to stop man city fraud and officials dirty robbery on Liverpool team....
This season WAS a failure. Liverpool were top of the table by the beginning of April and yet they dropped several points against mid-table teams (or even near relegation), like Crystal Palace, Man United, Everton and West Ham, not to mention a 3-0 humiliating defeat at the hands of Atalanta ! That simply doesn't cut it for Jurgen Klopp. He went out with a whimper, definitely not a bang ! Funny thing is, he could have won at least 10 more points, if he concentrated on proper defensive tactics, but NOOOO, he had to play his usual style !
