Unfortunately, that was a Nike call, we're not sure as Sinner seems to have a few stashed pairs. But this is going to be the closest current shoe to the Zoom Zero: www.tennis-warehouse.com/Nike_GP_Challenge_Pro_Mens_Tennis_Shoes/catpage-MSNIKEGPCP.html Michelle, TW
"Oak just like the tree" lives rent free in my head. i will randomly hear it for some reason 😂. please don't tell me he's too young to know who Professor Oak is.
I loved Relex for about 6 bours of play, then it became sticky with no spin. Is this how this string gets? So far X1B is my favorite, no stickyness throughout its life. Plays well just about til it breaks.
The new format is cool but the music seems to be lifted from a cable tv infomercial from 1986. Try udio or something similar to come up with something a tad more modern
16 18 so difficulty to make, 4 pair of holes less. But really difficult, do they earn more by push ppl to 97? No, they just push ppl away, + Wilson quality, well done.
I also enjoyed the New Format was much more informative about the racket ... also did you use new camera equipment? The video quality seemed much better more contrast and color noticed!
Agree with other comment. Older video formats better. The old ones with Andy and co where you had playsight data were amazing. The BMS racquet reviews work well, to the point with great honest insight. These new ones are ok, but it does feel like an ad, and looks like every other youtuber putting fancy graphics, music, headings etc. The written reviews are great for that (old scoring on the TW page was better also, love that format)
yes yes yes & yes. This format feels so much more comprehensive. Properly segmented and everyone gives their 2 cents on each segment. Comparisons to the old racquet described and the specs shown graphically. Absolutely love it
Are you kidding? I love the new format and I know Tennis Warehouse does too so stop sandbagging haha. Seriously congratulations on the aesthetics of the new format.
@Tennis Warehouse love the new video format! @Troy TW I was wondering how does this v14 6.1 95 compares to the v13 version? Does it play the same (just new cosmetic)? or does it have a different feel completely? Thank you!
I don't think it plays all that much different, however I do like the feel and "whipability" of this v14 haha. On the ones that we spec'd it seems as thought the stiffness is bit lower with the v14, which I enjoy. Also, the swingweight seems to be a bit lower on average, helping with maneuverability, and for those that want more swingweight a quick fix with a little weight tape. The v13 did feel a bit firmer and a bit heftier on the swingweight, however I didn't spec as many of the v13 racquets as I did with the v14; as I was digging through our stock for matching pairs. This style is way better IMO. Also, demoed this racquet and loved it! The only downside was I would have preferred a 16x19 version instead just for those days I’m not at 100 percent. Great looking stick too.
love the improved presentation. I like how the use of measurements are now presented at the same time. Comparisons with other models was a great touch too. While I love getting each one's perspective, it does get difficult synthesize somewhat. I think a quick summary at the end that collates all common opinions would be great. Obviously, not everyone will have the same opinion so I think each presenter's key traits can be mentioned as well to give context. Perhaps things like current racket of choice, play style, swing style - these can help me relate to the presenters better and would give me an idea of how much weight I should give to each presenter's opinion. Keep up the great work! Ya'll are killing it.
To Michelle, as you mentioned your RF97 is discontinued and you'll eventualy have to look for a replacement, how do you compare this Pro Staff 6.1 95 to the Head Prestige Tour? I remember you were super positive about the 2021 edition, with the hefty swing weight and head light balance and all. Which of these two do you like best?
Correct. The biggest difference for me is the handle/pallet shape...having used a Wilson for so long, this one feels right in my hands. I still struggle a tiny bit with the more oval Head pallet. Also, yes, loved that Prestige Tour...didn't like the update as much. and haven't hit it in a while but the Head frames that have been in heavier rotation for me is the Radical Pro and Gravity Pro (mod'd up spec though!). I just don't think I need to go DOWN in head size...but this racquet definitely didn't play like a 95 square inch frame in my opinion. Michelle, TW
@@tenniswarehouse Thanks very much. That is very interesting. I've watched a number of reviews all saying the 2023 update is so close to the 2021 it's hardly worth "upgrading to" the new Prestige Tour, but if I am reading this correctly you don't agree. Maybe I should stock up on the 2021 while they're still out there 🤔. I don't know if the Prestige Tour has the more rectangular TK82 pallets but if it does maybe you could swap 'em out to TK82S pallets. Or try the Prestige Pro. That one already has the TK82S pallets (at least mine does). Happy hunting! PS yes, Radical Pro with some lead at 3&9 and under the grip plays very well! Cheers!
How can you have a review without Mark starting "I was honored to be chosen for this review..." or Troy saying "I would slap a leather grip on this and weight it up at 10 and 2..." or Chris saying "My slice....". What are you doing TW?
New format is great and with this dream classic Pro Staff even makes it better. Maybe trying different courts and surfaces as well as different balls will make it even more appealing
Now I hear a number of play testers specifically mentioning this is the 18x20 version. Does that imply there's also going to be a 16x18 (or 19) version like with the original Pro Staff Classic 6.1? I still have one of both. Just weighed the 16x18 and it's 333 grams unstrung. So very close to the V14. As soon as Wilson releases a glossy all black version (like the Pro Labs one) I'm seriously gonna consider this racquet! Thanks guys.
So this particular generation of the EZONE 98+ is no longer available (from 2018), however the current EZONE 98+ which is one that we like a lot is available, here: www.tennis-warehouse.com/Yonex_EZONE_98/descpageRCYONEX-EZ98PL.html. Troy TW
to my knowledge Del Porto only used the K-factor Six One 95 throughout his career even with a different paint job, but i could be wrong. TW hinted in a RU-vid Short that they’re reviewing the Blade Pro right now…
Keep this format. The only thing I would change is in the beginning, show the racquet closeups a few seconds longer along with the specs so you can read them and see the stick without having to pause or rewind lol. Thanks guys!!
