Not necessarily a sure duty but rather a welcoming, of the power and resource of the Holy Spirit (God) into your New Life. Highest wisdom is found again, asking, "God, what do you want from me?" Adopt the truest meaning of a lost definition of the word agony. The olympic word in training muscle memory and strength with pain and a promise. Agony. The opportunity to gain ground on storing up training in exercise with a soon to be found enduring sustance and realized value. Sometimes, he is offering a true gift.

Thank you for this beautiful video. I believe that the Gog/Magog war will be at the very end, at the return of Jesus Christ, or just before it. Verses 38:16, 23 (and many others such as 39: 21-24) say that the nations will know Him (God) through this war, which implies this is the final war with Israel. It is the same as Armageddon described in Rev. 16.

There are at least two if not more types of Sabbaths. The 7th day Sabbath which was instituted at creation then the Ceremonial Sabbaths of which is the "High Sabbath". The Sabbath in the Ten Commandments is the 7th day Sabbath. When we set a day a week when we worship God and do no other work as ie most churches do on Sundays, is this not akin to keeping the Sabbath?

Hi pastor Walker, from Western Massachusetts. I'm a Christian, and was taught and have held to the general Dispensational view, and avoided date setting. I don't know if I ever learned the specific sequence of events of Ezekiel's prophesy in relation to Revelation events. I've watched your 4 part series on the Immanent Invasion of Israel. My question is whether God's powerful appearance, as described in Ezek. 38, could be before the Rapture or before the events like the global directive to take the Mark of Beast, the abomination of desolation, when God makes His control and presence so clear to the world. Are there particular "schools of thought" on this sequence of detailed, important events? Could Ezek. 38 events actually be within the sequence of events in Revelation, heading toward Armageddon? Is your Oxford Church part of any larger group or structure of Churches or creeds or denominations? Do you have any Oxford teachers or students as members?

Thanks for your presentation gentlemen! - technical note: please get assistance volume or audio levels. the sound is rather low starting out, an difficult to compete with common street noise, even inside a quiet home. I was active volunteer apologist with evidence based Christian evangelical organization in California for decades. One of the fundamental references for them is Psalm 19 and they teach that the 2 books of Revelation from God are both reliable and both are inspired fully by God. I had almost forgotten the passage comparing God's glory in the stars being like a Bridegroom on his passage to His wedding. This is important reference supporting the Hebrew/Jewish influence of Yeshua and His revealed plan in Scripture of the Bride of Christ, the Community of Believers, meeting Yeshua upon His 2nd coming, and celebrating the Wedding Feast with Him. From the oldest book in the Bible, Job foresees God's resurrection power, and his own personal meeting of God face to face. This Psalm 19 is a beautiful reminder of David's inspiration, whether he or his court member wrote the Psalm, being confirmed by God. Many people who attempt to deny the full details of His many promises and covenants to specific peoples and specific individuals, including many Jews and in fact millions of people led by the leaders of the scattered tribes of Israel around the globe, in the days preceding the Day of Trouble of Jacob, foretold in the book of Revelation. Can anyone explain to me why some believe it's Russia that Ezekiel 38 names the Chief Prince of Gog of the land of Magog? Is there any historical evidence that can support that conclusion? I know what people have said in the past The word Russia sounds like the Hebrew word Rosh and the other words Meshech & Tubal sound like cities in Russia but that is spectacuation. There is evidence that the word Russ originated from the Vikings and it's Etymology is rooted in the oars men. Men who row. The was no Russia at the time of Ezekiel's prophecy it didn’t come into existence untell 1000 AD. I find it amusing that those who believe Ezekiel prophesied about Russia laugh at those who say, The United States is in the Prophecys of last-day events. If anyone can show sold evidence that Russia is Gog of Ezekiel 38 I would certainly take another look at that evidence.

"The wrath of God started earlier when He opened the first seal." No, Brother Walker, this is not the truth of scripture. Leave the first seal in its CONTEXT: chapters 4 & 5. Rev. 5: 6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. WHEN did verse 6 happen? (not in 95 AD when John was watching the vision, but when did this EVENT happen, when Jesus suddenly appeared in the throne room, having been NOT SEEN in Chapter 4, and having NOT been found worthy to open the seals? The key is to understand that John was watching a vision out of the PAST. Jesus was NOT seen, showing us this was while He was under the earth. Jesus NOT found worthy (in the first search John watched) to open the seals, and in chapter 4, the Holy Spirit STILL THERE in the throne room, meaning, NOT YET sent down. In 5:5 Jesus rose from the dead to THEN be found worthy to open the seals, showing that He has just risen from the dead. John wrote that He "prevailed." In 4:6 Jesus suddenly appeared, Having just ascended (right after sending Mary away). The truth is plain when we read with no preconceptions: God's wrath begins AT the 6th seal right where John wrote, "the DAY of His wrath has come."
@LyleCooper

"This proves that the whole tribulation is a time of divine judgment." Sorry, Brother, but this is another huge hole in classic pre-trib theory. The TRUE "tribulation" or 70th week will not begin in Revelation until the 7th seal. Seal 1, the CHURCH sent out with the GOSPEL, is not "judgment." Seals 2, 3, and 4, the Devil trying to stop the advance of the Gospel, is not "judgment." Seal 5, the martyrs of the church age, is in no possible way ""judgment." Seal 6, the start of God's wrath, BEGINS judgment.
@LyleCooper
@LyleCooper 15 дней назад
"Then in Chapter 6 He [Christ] opens the first 6 seals, releasing judgment..." Sorry, Brother Walker, but seals one through 5 are NOT "judgment." God does not begin judgment until the 6th seal. Please read my first post below.) Seal 1, opened as soon as Jesus took the book (after ascending and sending the Holy Spirit down) from the Father, so around AD 32. In other words, the first seal was opened about the time Jesus gave the great commission: "GO!" Seal 1: the CHURCH sent out with the GOSPEL, AD 32 or so. Seals 2, 3, 4: God has allowed the devil to use WARS, FAMINES and PESTILENCES to try and stop the advance of the gospel, to HOLD it within that one forth of the earth God limited Him for his theater of operation: probably including Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the very places where TWO world wars have been fought, where famines have come again and again, and where the black plague hit again and again. Seal 5: the martyrs of the church age; The RAPTURE Seal 6: the start of God's wrath.

"Redeemed "us" or "them?" 8 And when he had taken the book, THE FOUR BEASTS and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And THEY sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us [THEM] to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; Since the four beasts are also singing this song, I believe "them" must be the correct answer. There is NO hint that the four Beasts are redeemed. (It is remotely possible that John meant that only the 24 elders were singing.)

"So at the start of the tribulation the church is already in heaven, represented by the 24 elders..." Brother, this is an extremely weak argument for a pre-trib rapture, and indeed is not needed at all, when we have much stronger arguments. (The rapture will be between the 5th and 6th seals.)
@LyleCooper
@LyleCooper 15 дней назад
"These 24 elders represent the church." Sorry, but at this time the church has not yet been caught up. If they are the church, they are in spirit form. Perhaps they are 12 from the Old Testament and 12 from the New Covenant. However, I suspect that they are all Old Testament saints, raised when Jesus rose. Remember Matthew 27 tells us that "many" were resurrected when Jesus rose. If this is who they are, then they are there in Resurrection bodies. This is a poor argument for a pre-trib rapture. If we truly understand Revelation 4 & 5, John (in a vision of the past) got to see the moment Jesus ascended and entered the throne room, having been absent for around 32 years. He saw that the first thing Jesus did was send down the Holy Spirit, then get the book and began (right then, around AD 32) opening the seals. What then was the timing of chapter 4? All we can know is that it was while Jesus was under the earth and before He rose from the dead. (He rose from the dead in Chapter 5 where John wrote that Jesus "prevailed" to become worthy to open the seals.) Therefore, the timing of when John first saw the elders around was perhaps just before Jesus rose from the dead, or around that same time. This is why we cannot be dogmatic as to who these 24 elders are.
@LyleCooper
@LyleCooper 15 дней назад
"Revelation 4 tells us exactly when this rapture will take place..." Sorry, Brother Walker, but this is one of the HUGE holes in classic pre-trib rapture theory. Any begining reader can read this passage and tell us that this was JOHN being caught up to heaven. If one studies, this event probably happened around 95 AD. Second, Paul wrote that the rapture of the church would come JUST BEFORE the start of God's wrath, and wrath on John's Revelation timeline begins at the 6th seal. Therefore the rapture MUST precede the 6th seal. When we understand that the 5th seal was opened for the murder of Stephen and the others Saul put to death, and is for the martyrs of the CHURCH AGE, we understand that the rapture must come AFTER the 5th seal. They cry out wondering HOW LONG it would be before God would judge their murders. They were told they must wait for the FINAL martyr to be killed as they all were killed - in the same category - as church-age martyrs. Since the RAPTURE will end the church age, they were told that they would have to wait for judgment until the rapture ends the church age. Therefore the rapture must come AFTER the 5th seal. The time of judgment will begin at the 6th seal start of God's wrath. Third, we are told in Romans that at some point in time God put blindness upon Israel and sent Paul to the Gentiles. Then in several books we are told that God gave Paul a SPECIAL DISPENSATION for the Gentile church. We understand that God STOPPED Jewish time when He STARTED this new dispensation for the Gentile church of today. Therefore, one day in the future God will STOP the special dispensation He created for the Gentile church, and TIME will again start for the Jews, when their 70th Week will begin at the 7th seal. Therefore, what PAUL WROTE (the dispensing of instructions for the Gentile church) will wrap up before the 70th week. It is as if this new dispensation of GRACE was placed as a parenthesis into Jewish time. This parenthesis MUST END before Jewish time can begin again. The truth is, God did not show John the rapture, so John did not write it. The book of Revelation was written to and for the Jews and Hebrews. This is confirmed for nine chapters are about Daniel's 70th week. (Chapters 8 to 16) However, to forever settle the timing of the rapture, John and Paul left clues. Paul: just before the start of the Day of the Lord and of God's wrath. John: the 5th seal martyrs of the church age and what they were told. The rapture must come AFTER the 5th seal. John: the 6th seal start of God's wrath. The rapture must PRECEDE the 6th seal. John: God in His mercy shows John the just-raptured church and John wrote it in Chapter 7, as that great crowd, too large to number. John: the start of the tribulation at the 7th seal.
@LyleCooper
@LyleCooper 15 дней назад
"I aim to prove that the rapture is before the tribulation..." When one understands John's timeline in Revelation, a pre-trib rapture is EASY to prove. It is as easy as knowing that 6 comes before 7 in counting, and that the 6th seal will be opened before the 7th. The 6th seal begins God's wrath, so the rapture MUST precede the 6th seal. The 7th seal begins the tribulation, so the rapture (before the 6th) will certainly be before the 7th. In the same way, a prewrath rapture is proven, because 7 comes before 8 in counting, and the events of Chapter 7 in revelation will certainly come before the events of chapter 8. John saw the just-raptured church in heaven as that great crowd, too large to number, and wrote it in chapter 7. Then He began the 70th week or tribulation in 8:1 when the final seals is opened SO THAT the book can be opened. The book, once unseals contains the entire 70th week, which will begin at the opening of the 7th seal and WITH the first trumpet judgment.
@LyleCooper
@LyleCooper 15 дней назад
"This time is also called 'the day of the Lord.'" Brilliant! God begins the Day of the Lord at the 6th seal, then begins the tribulation at the 7th seal, effectively placing the entire WEEK inside the DAY, so that every judgment of the 70th week is also a judgment of the Day of the Lord and will come with God's wrath. This is confirmed in Jer. 30:7 where he wrote, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble..." Jacob had to work an EXTRA 7 years for the woman he loved, and I guess that is why Daniel's week was called "the time of Jacob's trouble, but he also tied it to the Day of the Lord. Many people imagine that they can separate God's wrath from Satan's wrath in time, but that is impossible, because these two wraths are contemporary, happening at the same time.

Brother Walker, You are missing it in where the 70th week (what many call "the tribulation") begins. You show all the seals in the first half of the week. Sorry, but you are pulling those first seals out of their Chapters 4 & 5 context. God does not begin His wrath until the 6th seal. Only the 7th seal could be considered IN the 70th week, for the 7th seal is the official start of the 70th week. Take careful note: 1. Jesus NOT SEEN in the throne room in Chapter 4, showing us a time while Jesus was on the earth. 2. The Holy Spirit SEEN in the throne room, showing us a time before Jesus ascended to send Him down. 3. Jesus NOT FOUND WORTHY to open the book in the first search John watched. This shows us that Jesus had not yet risen from the dead. 4. JOHN WEPT MUCH. Why much? He wept until Jesus prevailed over death and then became worthy to open the book. The next thing John saw in the vision was Jesus suddenly entering the throne room where He had been gone for 32 or so years. He ascended after sending Mary away, entered the throne room, sent down the Holy Spirit, and took the BOOK from the Father. WHEN? Around AD 32. 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. No one can find 2000 years there, for that was not the intent of the Author. Jesus opened that first seal around AD 32-the very time He sent out the church with the gospel. The FIRST SEAL: represents the CHURCH sent out with the GOSPEL. Seals 2, 3, 4: God has allowed the devil to use WARS, FAMINES, and PESTILENCES to try and stop the advance of the Gospel. These three horsemen, the RED horse and rider, the BLACK horse and rider, and the PALE horse and rider were LIMITED in their theater of operations to only one fourth of the surface of the earth, probably Europe, the Middle East and Africa-the very places where two world wars were fought, where famines have been common, and where the black plague hit again and again. Seal 5 was opened in time for Stephen's murder, becoming one of the first murders and martyrs of the church age. They were crying out wondering how long they would have to wait for judgment to begin when their murders would be judged. In short, they were told they would have to wait for the FINAL MARTYR to be killed as they all were killed, in the same category, as church age martyrs. In short, they will have to wait for the pre-tribulation rapture to END the church age, so judgment can begin. Therefore the rapture of the church must come AFTER the 5th seal. The 6th seal begins the wrath of God, so the rapture must come BEFORE the 6th seal. This timing is confirmed in Chapter 7 where John saw the just raptured church safely in heaven as that great crowd, too large to number.

You've got mostly good revelation here. Though a couple of things not fully clear to you yet leading to some incorrect assumptions. I could list all the many great truths you lusted here but that would take too long. Instead I'd like to concentrate on the differences. This is my view for what it's worth. Rev 13:18 is not referring to 'a' singular man. There is no 'a' in the Greek text. It should be translated as man/mankind/humankind. The Greek word is anthropou, used for 'Son of Man', which means mankind. The Greek word for a man is anthropos. Some translations have correctly ascribed it this way, though not many. Likewise, the phrase, 'man of lawlessness' is a personification, and not a literal 'man' - singular. It is a kingdom/empire of man/mankind. It is 'man pre-eminent'. Humankind - a united kingdom of man, himself, as was the rebellion (apostasia) at Babel (Babylon), a united rebellion against God the Creator and his Messiah. Of man's rebellion (apostasia) Paul writes in 2 Thess 2:4, 'He (again using the pronoun 'he' as a personification) will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God'. Speaking metaphorically, Paul is to saying that he, man/mankind, will think himself superior to the God who created him. Man's version of what is truth opposes the Word of God. These keys are given in Revelation itself using 'type and shadow' of the OT; The beast 'out of the sea', Rev 13:1, is; the complete chronological lineage of Gentile kingdoms which were to come (Daniel) and unite the world in rebellion to God, as at Babel (Babylon). It is the complete beast because it has been assigned the number 'seven', the number in scripture which symbolizes complete/completion/whole, as with the seven churches in Rev 1 being the complete church; seven days make a complete week; Jacob worked seven years to complete his servitude to Laban for Rachel, etc. So the beast 'out of the sea'- sea of Gentiles, is the complete chronological lineage of Gentile kingdoms, as described by Daniel, which were to come and unite the world in rebellion to God, as at Babel. The little horn (referred to as the antichrist) which grows to displace three others, the displacement of three is a description of it's power since the number three in scripture symbolizes strength, surety and stability, and thereby the little horn/power/kingdom starting as an eleventh horn/kingdom, displacing three, becoming an eighth kingdom; 11 -3 = 8. The number 'eight' symbolizes 'resurrection' and telling the reader that this 'little horn' is a resurrected kingdom. It is a kingdom 'which once was (at Babel, Babylon), now is not (at John's time of writing) but will come again (alluding again to its resurrection), Rev 17:11. It is the kingdom that is 'an eighth kingdom, which belongs to the seven'. The 'little horn' grows to unite the world in rebellion (apostasia) to God as first attempted at Babel where God said, if they be united like this, as one, nothing will be impossible for them. So, it is the resurrected kingdom of Babel (Babylon), signifed by being assigned the number eight. It is the kingdom 'which was wounded by the sword, yet lived', when God went down to Babel and 'wounded' man/mankind's effort to unite, as one, by confusing his language and DISPERSING him over the face of the earth. Mankind, the humanistic spirit of man powered by the dragon, whose wound of dispersion has been healed and is back uniting as one world kingdom under his own headship, just as he first attempted at Babel. Man/mankind has his own gospel to preach to the world, which opposes the Word of God; liberty, equality and fraternity, apart from God. His gospel blasphemes the Word of God calling it archaic, barbaric and even unrighteous. The word of man purports to save humankind apart from God and his Christ, Jesus. This is the deception 'which will be 'worshipped' as truth by all those who are perishing, because they loved the darkness instead of the light', 2 Thess 2. Cheers

Good Dereck. God gives discernment to whoever he pleases. The woman, the prostitute, Babylon, are two distinctly different entities; the woman prostitute; and the beast she rides. In fact, we are told in Rev 17:16 that the ten horns and the beast will hate the woman, prostitute, bringing her to ruin, burning her with fire. Cheers

Its good to hear that finally people are waking up to the truth of what is reality in the Spirit. Yes, it is about the unity of man/mankind in the last days, as it was at Babel. Itvis the resurrected Babel which is spoken of in Revelation concerning the 'little horn' or antichrist. As follows; *It is the kingdom 'which was wounded by the sword and yet lived', Rev 13:3,12 &14. And the 'wound' it recieved was the wound of dispersion when God went down to Babel and saw their unified rebellion and said, if they be unified like this, as one, nothing will be impossible for them. He then 'wounded' mankind's attempt to unify in rebellion (apostasia) to God, by confusing their language and scattering them over the face of the earth. In these last days, under the inspiration and power of the dragon, mankind is back seeking unity. His 'wound of disperion' having been healed, he/man/mankind is once again seeking to complete the rebellion (apostasia) which he attempted at Babel. To rule himself as lord and master of his own destiny, apart from/in place of God and his Christ. This is the delusion that is sent to the whole world - 'all who are perishing', that they become willing participents, honoring the beast which is the unity of man in rebellion to God, with their allegiance. And in this way proving their guilt. Because they loved the darkness, instead of the light. Cheers

The two witnesses are killed by the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit. following your chronology of chapters the beast hasn't come out of the bottomless pit yet, so how can the two witnesses be killed at the midpoint. However, if we move the timeframe of the two witnesses forward after the beast has come out of the sea. (which is where the bottomless pit is) then everything works,
