I’m about to buy one. My 2006 Polaris 800 twin’s inline shifter went out recently and I’m done putting money into it. I had it for years without problems and the engine still runs like new even beat my friends 90cc dirt bike in a drag race. Anyway have you had any problems with it? Where I hunt has deep water and it’s only gotten deeper over the years to get to the stands.
Great install video, I put one myself on my XMR 850. I think there was another template your supposed to use in to cut away some of the plastic so the snorkel does not kink over. I also didn't realize that about the coolant line I extended that one as well I should go back and drop that down to it's original location.
I had this installed on my 2022 outlander xmr 1000r but the intake pipe for the snorkel keeps collapsing when applying throttle and chokes the engine. Dealer said can am has no answers, are u experiencing this issue?
I have not noticed that. But I haven’t sent it full throttle yet. I would imagine that if there were any kinks on the intake pipe it would be biased to collapse. I spent a lot of time making sure it was not bent when the covers were on
@@kurtatv2315 I just took videos of it, I don't see any kinks in the pipe. The pipe just feels too flimsy. As soon as I hit 28mph it starts to choke and won't go over 30mph. I also noticed if I have to give it any throttle to go up a hill it chokes. If I put the stock pipe back on I get over 40 without any issues. I am working with the dealership on a refund

@@kurtatv2315 I figured can am sold it so it would work without issues, guess I was wrong. I will figure out some type of pipe to use in it. Probably flex pvc. I do see the clutch exhaust through is just as low and is not rerouted higher so not sure what this is getting you

Nope. Most trucks (yes, even the little ford Maverick) are legally allowed to hold up to 1,500 lbs in the bed. Even my “not a truck” Ridgeline can hold more than the average full size truck in the bed.
What a beautiful atv. I just managed l get an 850 max xt in green. Well waiting on it. The colour of the 1000xmr is just perfect tho. It’s much like the 2021 Skidoo XRS!
That’s the right seat. Technically, XMR is a single seat ATV. It shares a frame with the max. Get the Max seat. My local dealer was significantly cheaper than online ~($580 vs $650).
