If you're getting tons of cctvs and cameras you're better off selling them in a shop for like 100 scrap per. Alot of people dont want to farm for their auto turrets
yooo in my 4k hrs i did not know that you could scrap vehicles in that giant shredder. I thought it would only work for those scrap-cars that spawn within the junkyard
Best way to farm scrap is to farm up the road, recycle everything, buy 1 shotgun trap and with rest of scrap you buy wood and stone and craft doors and tc inside the outpost. Then you exit outpost and place your base just next to outpost road and set up a TRAP base. Now you load up shotgun shells, take out spear and pretent you are eco raiding the base. Some eoka scrub that farmed the road to outpost will jump in and get killed. And this is how you get it realy fast. However you gona 100% lose this base, so be sure you set up main one somewhere close, but far enogh that players cant follow you to it.
If You like farm u can also farm a lot of metal ore with pure ore tea (1 ore gives 600 with tea 900 ), cook it in electrical furnaces and sell on outpost (1k frags its 50 scrap)

5:15 You can now do that with the attack helicopter and when you're underground you can shoot a base with all your rockets fron below and foundation wipe it.

Back in very early rust you could just lean and head glitch through walls, position yourself well enough and you could see everything in the room 😂 soo many funny glitches over the years
I've had PC rust since 2017 but only recently started seriously playing it. I've got roughly 1,200 hrs on console though. Console had some wild glitches. Some wilder than what's in this video. In early console rust, there were multiple launch site glitches. There were some windows you could jump straight through to get into the puzzle without a keycard. Then there was the sleeping glitch where a specific place on top of the building didn't have rads and u could log off to reset the puzzle and then loot it again. Another glitch that wasn't specific to launch (but helped) was where if you stood on someone's head and they jumped, you would both start to levitate upward as long as you both kept jumping. You could fly up on top of launch, bases, anything. People would do this with boom over layers of compound walls to raid (no minis in game). The first wipe of console rust you couldnt craft any gunpowder, so everyone bought grenades for gp. Then there was a recoil glitch where I think if you shot a certain number of bullets at once, your gun would magically have no recoil at a time when recoil was very hard to master. Since console rusts initial state was roughly equivalent to 2018 on pc, all of the OP building strats were also possible. I also remember using chairs and stuff to get under rocks and stuff. The only servers available were official so ofc there were no active admins and u could abuse any exploit without punishment. There are probably more but its been a while.
I remember not so long ago that you could place foundations at random and if there was a stash under where you placed it it would automatically appear.
I would like to share two more things our group came up with (or at least we think so) From back in 2017-2018 • When the half blocks were still a thing you could place a foundation on the floor just outside of someone’s TC coverage on the farthest side on that foundation you’d place a doorframe and on the closest side to the enemy’s base you’d place a pillar now going around that pillar trying to place a second pillar you’d end up placing horizontal pillars without the loss in stability meaning you could build up high enough (7-10 pillars vertically) then build horizontal pillars and eventually drop down on enemy’s base, if the reach of vertical pillars wasn’t enough you could extend it by placing a mix or small/large wooden signs on the same vertical pillars whilst being mid air. (Would be useless now with the helicopters but back in the days in Amsterdam II this was a neat party trick) • Before copters (2017-2018) when player was wounded (On the floor or mid air) an invisible field would generate around the wounded player (roughly 1 foundation around.) We would bind a button to kill ourselves whilst jumping of the said horizontal pillars and use the other person who’s wounded in mid air as a step ladder 🪜 so to speak. Took a lot of trial and error. I’ll try to find the examples of this in the archives, but no promises. • When the Jack o lanterns were introduced (Won’t be able to quote a patch note exactly) Throwing one out on the ground whilst someone else is shooting (don’t ask how we figured it out) Would crash anyone’s game in the draw distance except for the person who dropped the Jack o Lantern. ramsey used to unlocks key locks by crafting bunch of keys cause key locks had a number from 0 to 100 and when you craft keys it also gives it a number from 0 to 100 so if you craft enough keys, one of them is gonna match the door you wanna open
