Someone else mentioned that too. And it looks like it would work that way but the images all showed the way I was using it. Too bad I didn’t still have it to test. Looks like it could’ve been effective.
That’s pretty sad that the RTR was rusting that badly after such a short time. Their stuff definitely comes at a premium price and you’d think they’d have a better finish.
? … you mean when the top is up and doors are closed there’s still a hole big enough to put your hand through? If that’s what you mean, no, definitely that isn’t how it should be.
You’re not really trying to balance just getting the bike up. It’s good if but looking at how you’re just holding on you’re relying too much on the training wheels to stop you from going back.
Yeah. I was just getting the hang of it when it ended. There was one time I definitely would’ve flipped if that contraption wasn’t there. It’s in the full video. It was fun,.. and now I kinda have it out of my system, so that’s good too. 😅
I have about 12 hours of flying to do on Wednesday, so I was hoping for something special. I could never wrap something around my neck, especially if it is an elastic material, though. Thank you anyway.
That’s what I thought as well. I have relatively sensitive skin (if that tag on the back of a shirt rubs me the wrong way, forget about it), and also sensitive to heat (don’t like to sweat). But after using it, it squashes my concerns. Also, there is a ‘cool’ version. But, regardless, hopefully you can get some rest. I’ve realized, no matter how comfortable I am, I can’t really sleep on planes. 🤷♂️
lol. Well, I want trying to sell you anything. 😁 But, if you do end up getting a bronco, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. I feel like all the bugs have been worked out now. Happy trails!
I have been four wheeling for 60 years and I have had a hook fail. I have never had a shackle fail. Not sure why you would use a shackle at the end of the hook when it could be interchanged. I think the least weight to be flying through the air at hundreds of miles an hour is best when something does break. Try not to use something sketchy and try to stay out of the way when it does break.
Well, now I can say with experience, the MT07 was a fun, easy to ride bike that has more than enough power for the street. Have fun out there but play safe. And, keep the rubber side down!
So you sound like you’re new into riding yourself bro. I think you need to look more into the dynamics of leaning. You are supposed to lean off the bike more than the bike leans. You are a counter weight. Stop worrying about dragging knee and work on your body position and your lines. You will drag knee the more you work on stuff. It’s a product of proper body position. Thanks for showin us wheelie skool. Good luck out there and be skillful.
Thanks for the tips. ❤️ I’ve been riding for decades. I’ve owned about 7 or so bikes during my life. I’ve gone to track school and have the opportunity to enjoy the track about a half dozen times. I’m solidly in the middle speed group. But as I grow older I think the basic pleasure of riding is slowly outweighing the thrill of speed. So, probably going in the right direction. But you’re definitely right. Skill over ego. Have fun out there and keep the rubber side down!
I too have been begging Project X for more options in light covers and they have not shown any interest in making them. Last I talked they are not even on the table. Really not sure why. Shame because I love their lights. They did mention that if I make my own covers like u did. To make sure I chose a specfic color due to what you experienced. I'll go back and ask what that color was again. Something to do with their lights being a specific type of white that washes out the amber tint that you applied.
Hmm. Interesting. If you hear back, please let me know. I’m going to try a ‘yellow’ vinyl. It’s funny how I choose the colour by name and not visually. I just assumed they were ‘amber’ but they’re obviously visually yellow. Project X told me they were planning on making the yellow covers, but like I said in the video, they keep saying ‘soon’ but it’s been over almost 2 years now. 🤷♂️
@@neverendingweekendwill do. So far I added one sticker to the rear window, and a front vanity plate. I just ordered brand new wheels today. The outer banks has one of the oddest wheels I’ve ever seen. Only 18s on this vehicle. Smh
Hmm.. let me see. There’s only one ‘pocket where the insert fits so, I don’t think you could use 2 inserts. but you just need to rotate the ‘scarf’ so that the plastic is wherever you think you’ll need it. Also, not sure where you’d get the 2nd insert from unless you buy another TRTL. I hope that helps.
Pretty brave with no eye or helmet protection. I recently had my windshield cracked by a hard hit from a rock falling off a passing gravel truck. If that had hit my head, it would have been a mess!
You’re right, probably not very bright. But with the windscreen in place, I feel pretty protected. I have a video of me driving without the windscreen too. I’d say that was probably riskier. 😅 ru-vid.comeaHCxPnDGrc?si=ZdlmV3pOZdsSMPJe
Did you go on the trip? I bought the turtle… I have an overnight flight and never can sleep on the plane, was hoping you had good news for us heavy headed, front and side head flopping sleepers 💁♀️
I forgot to bring it! 😆 But I got my family their own, so I borrowed it. I’ve decided I can’t get comfortable enough on a plane to sleep for longer than an hour or two. BUT, saying that, it does work well. And surprisingly wasn’t as hot under the collar as I thought it’d be. Still ‘recommended’ after my flight. Safe travels!
@@neverendingweekend what! After such a great review of them all.. darn! Ok.. so think I’m going to try this sarisun thing… it’s an eye mask and neck contraption that attaches to the plane’s chair headrest… I’m hoping between the turtle thing and these strap it up thing that maybe, just maybe I can sleep…. A little 😵💫 Wish me luck 🤣
Excellent point- I've been off roading for about 50 years and never seen one of them hooks fail-like you said there are other problems, but that hook ain't one of them- Thanks for posting
If you really think about it and you want to be really practical, anything over $60 seems too much for a hook. 😅 But just like anything, it comes down to budget and desire. 💸😉
For the ARB, mine came with that hose coupling with the dust cover. It does fit under the hood in that same spot. Been using it for a few years now with no issues.
When you add them up like this, that’s a ton of mods! Planning on attending the bronco stampede in pigeon forge, pick up a rear bumper atleast. Good times!
Picking up a Heritage 4 door Friday. Had a 2013 Wrangler 4 door & really liked it but even though it was 98% commuter car (highway mostly too) the engine went at 91,000 & neither Mopar nor the dealership would do a thing to back their product (under on mileage, over on yrs). Anyway, no more giving them my money so I'm down to GM & Ford. Enjoyed the review, well done !
🤯 wow. That really blows (the motor 😅 and the service 👎). I almost bought the wrangler,.. but then this was announced. The Ford is generally a more sophisticated product. You’ll love it. Congrats! …And thanks for watching.
Hello, we followed your instructions on how to take our Best top (soft top) off of our bronco last fall. Now that it’s warm, we want to put it back on. Do you have a video of that?
I should make one, …multiple ppl have asked me. But I never put mine back on because I got a roof rack. I believe someone said in the comments that they just took these exact instructions and did them backwards and it worked. Good luck! Let me know!
I have a 2023 two-door Outer bank, although it wasn’t my first choice because I wanted the base model. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of my Outer Banks, and if I had it to do all over again, I would’ve just waited for the Base model.
Yeah, there was a bit of a fervour around the broncos early on. Me too, I might’ve waited for the Sasquatch with 5 speed. But it’s all good. Enjoy your bronco!
Do you have a video that shows how to reinstall the Bestop? I see an install video but that includes items that remained on. Thanks, loved your how to remove the top video, super helpful!
I’m glad it was helpful. Unfortunately, I added a roof rack to my build and never reinstalled the Bestop. BUT, there is someone in the comments that just reversed the order of this video and said it worked perfectly (before starting, double check the comments in case I’m mistaken) Good luck! If I ever reinstall the Bestop, I’ll be sure to make a video and I’ll remember to tag you on it. Have a nice convertible-summer! 😎
Hmm,.. you might be right, but it was rented as a Veloce, and I did a bit of digging to confirm and I recall that what I found indicated it was a veloce. 🤔
