Whilst the 458/4 is a really good train when it comes to features and long-distance capabilities, i don't think putting them on metro services like the Weybridge via Hounslow loops would be suitable because now they've reduced acceleration which puts more wear on the motor on making the train move fast enough away from stations which was an issue when they were first entered into service. This also means that the first class will be declassified for most of the time (they could've renamed it as quiet class pre-refurbishment) so there would've been no point cutting off the areas near the drivers cab and keeping the seating layout 2+2 when all you pay extra for is wireless charging and a headrest that tells you how much of a sucker you are to cough up an extra £7 for a retapered standard class. What I'm gonna end with is that the 458/4 should've been put on the Portsmouth Direct Line like they should've (also that the 701s are starting to enter service more!!)
although the 465/9s are converted class 465/2s they are not the same, they have different interiors, and the 465/9 was mainly to use on the regional services hence having the first class which is now declassified on all units.
Wasn't on one of those in recent years but they used to be extra nippy when leaving a platform - drivers were able to select forward motion whilst doors were still open, so they could jump ahead as soon as the last door clicked shut \m/

Hello There it is Mr Cannadine T. Boxill-Harris, I have another interesting idea for most of you Class 508, Class 507, Class 313, Class 314 and that also is including those interesting Class 315 Fans out there, rather than scrapping most of those Class 508, Class 507, Class 313's Class 314's including the Class 315's maybe you guys can convert them and including the refurbishment into those Leyland 680 Engine, Volvo B10M Engine, Volvo D10M Engine, Cummins M11 Engine, Gardner 6LXC Engine, Gardner 6LXB Engine, Gardner 8LXB Engine, Class 508 Class 507, Class 313's, Class 314's and the Class 315's and convert all of them into a 2 Carriages and Three Carriages of the Class 508, Class 507, Class 313's, Class 314's and that is including those Class 315's for most of us Class 314's and the Class 315's Diesel Train Fans out there PLEASE. Are you still going to do this interesting type of Project for all of us out there Pretty PLEASE?
West Midlands Trains is just the name of the operator which incorporates both the West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway brands. This service, despite being operated by a 730 in the West Midlands Railway livery, is a London Northwestern branded service (as it isn’t operating in the West Midlands region), so the creator hasn’t got it wrong.
