If I didn't have Charging at Work, I doubt I would have bought an EV. Part of the problem with Apartments is Equity. Someone with a Garage only pays Utility Rates, where as public / apartment charging is considerably higher. Imagine if Gas stations charged you more because you lived in an apartment.
Thanks for the tips. I recently installed the rear entertainment system in the back of my model y. I have a monthly wifi subscription. How can I hook it to my wifi. I have been unsuccessful so far. Any tips. I have used the wifi address that pops up, and I can't get it to work😢
I am so sick of Tesla’s shenanigans that I am moving from Tesla to Rivian. How can a car company lie and not expect a major blow back? It’s ridiculous.
Tesla is blowing it not focusing on range. The 320 stated range is a joke. To start with, Tesla tells you that charging above 80% degrades the battery life, so we’re down to 256 at 80% charge. My experience with my Y is that the real range is about 75% of stated, or 192 at 80%. On top of that, it starts to get risky to let your car get below 50, so your real range between charges is under 150 miles. And that’s when the car is brand new. After 80k miles driven, my batteries have degraded by 10%, so my current realistic range is 135 miles. I will upgrade when a significant increase in range is announced, not before.
You are hilarious man. Model Y is an excellent car and you clearly just need to have the newest version and are upset you overpaid. I get it, it sucks but I would highly encourage people to get the Model Y now at current prices. It is an excellent vehicle and the “Juniper” is not going to be much different. It will look different (but seriously who cares), and it will have lighting and ventilated seats. Wow, game changer.. not really. Now is the time to buy, the current 2024 build quality and soundproofing is incredible, I just got my Quicksilver AWD and it’s perfect.
Anyone waiting for the Juniper seems to think it’s going to be a completely different vehicle. It’s going to look slightly different, have ambient lighting (which you can add to your current Model Y super cheap) and ventilated seats. If you want a Model Y, buy now with great prices, and let the Juniper buzz die down and let all the people who can’t help themselves deal with the bugs and high prices. Seriously, the Model Y is a great car, there is 0 value in waiting for Juniper unless you’re someone that just HAS to have the newest thing. It’s like Apple, some people always need to have the newest phone spending unnecessary money.
To be clear, I hope this helps everyone: 1) If you will be driving 20-40k miles per year commuting, get the AWD Long Range 2) if you will be driving 5-15k per year, get the Performance Its that simple. The tires will wear much quicker and be a major expense in the performance and ride quality of the long range over time remains constant. Commuters should NOT buy a Performance.
It's working on a creature comfort?! You don't have a speed dial in front of you and when you look to the right it beeps and turns off the autopilot as a punishment. It's not an opinion it's measurably garbage. Like there are measurements where it shows that people are distracted and it's harder to use. No opinions. Data
I sold mine during the pandemic and profited 10 k. Then bought a new Ev with the profit as a down payment and a new 7500 discount so 17k savings.. sometime you gotta use that Mellon
USS sensors should be back for a proper safety features , better suspension , faster CPU/GPU , and most important bigger battery at new level in its class , 94kWh gross 90kWh nett
I own one but it’s not that exciting to look at. If it looks like and egg…it’s an egg. Full glass roof isn’t that great in Texas. No front bumper camera or 360 view when parking next to curbs in tight spots. Suspension is pretty terrible for the average buyer expecting a smooth ride. I heard so many people who are looking to buy and EV, the number one complain is the regenerative braking bc they are used to the ICE way of driving and totally turns them off completely no matter how great everything else is. They should drop the price dramatically for FSD as bc that is their only competitive advantage right now. As well as pricing.
I didn't become financially independent until I was in my late 40's, and I'm still in my 40's. In addition to having purchased my second home and earning money on a monthly basis through passive income, I've also achieved three out of five goals. I just hope this inspires someone to realize that it doesn't matter if you don't have any of these things yet, you can start today no matter your age. Change your future by investing! I made a rather big decision by investing in the financial market.
Investing in many sources of income that are independent on government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis. Stocks, forex, and digital currencies are still good investments at this time.
Sure, investing is essential for maintaining your financial stability, but making any kind of legitimate investment without the correct advice of a professional can result in a significant loss as well.
It's really not easy investing or trading the financial market. I read a lot of books, tried to study, watch some tutorial videos, did a little demo before funding my account and I still lost a lot. The financial market could be very tricky
Generalise the new chinese interior + ventilated seats and it will already please a lot of people and I'd buy it probably. No news of the new CATL battery,?
Tesla have to do a lot more upgrades on MY than at M3. Otherwise they will lose more sales to the upcoming competition, especially from China. Not in USA of course, but in the rest of the world. Sorry Elon, but all are coming to do what they can to beat you, and you know it!😉👍🏻
The interior of the new 3 is the ugliest Tesla interior ever, without the wooden insert it looks cheap and the LEDs are just irritating. In my opinion, the design of this interior will cause a decline in sales of the new Model 3 and Y.
I am of the mindset that you never buy a first model year/refresh until they work out the bugs....wait a few years...which is why I picked up a Model Y Performance last month at its lowest price yet. Great car!
It is crazy how many of these videos I see… talking about what Tesla is doing wrong and why they can’t sell cars. While they are selling more cars than any other car company in the world. People also talk about resale value but the reality is, all cars have shit resale value if you buy it new. My last car was an Acura MDX, I sold it 4 years after I bought it and lost $42k (almost the full purchase price of a model y) I bet my model y won’t lose $42k in 4 years. Then the refresh, everyone saying it needs to come out now because Tesla is to slow at refreshing cars and they are stale. But Tesla improves the cars all the time and most car companies only do refreshes every 8-10 years. So again, Tesla is doing more and selling more than any other car companies yet you all complain about it.
