To answer your question at the end of the video. A new model Y would have to have a better screen, enhanced vision/lidar system, 370+ range, improved suspension, rear screen, improved HVAC, improved tech integrations.

The reason I’m holding out for the Refresh is to get the better cabin noise reduction and the led strip. Two of the biggest complaints I heard when I started shopping were noisy interior and too dark at night. I guess Tesla heard that too! 😁

I test drive the long range and the performance last Tuesday. Strangely, the performance was pretty quiet and rode much nicer than the long range. Also, the long range sounded really boomy inside from outside noise whereas the performance was quiet.

The Performance Comes with Matrix Headlights, I dont really have any complaints about road noise in mine. My 2019 Model 3 SR+ was alot more noisy than my 2024 Model Y Performance

Curious have you ever driven a Toyota that’s road noisy. I have a 23 model y and it’s quiet. You’re talking to the king of hatred of road noise.

I placed my first order for a Model Y on May 19th. My delivery dates were posted yesterday as June 6th - 20th. There is no VIN number yet. I hope it doesn't get pushed. I'm so excited and can't wait for my first Tesla.

I put my order on May 11 and got delivery date May 25 to June 8. My order just got pushed forward to June 4 to June 18.

We're current Model 3 owners who will definitely move to a Model Y. If the current model had ventilated seats, we'd be motivated to move, however, knowing Tesla the closer we get to the release of the Juniper Y they're going to offer incredible incentives to move current Y inventory. We're watching closely and will move when we feel the time is right. As NJ residents we're also waiting to see if the state replenishes the EV incentive fund. If it mirrors the prior plan that would be an additional $4000 incentive. As the new fiscal year starts July 1st, we hope to hear something soon.

To answer your question. A new Model Y must have insane range and battery charging speed, that is the only thing that's stopping people from buying electric cars and stopping me from getting another model y

I have a 2020 Model 3LR. Replacing it with a Model Y LRAWD because of the 0.99% financing. I really don't like the Model 3 refresh. I don't see the purpose of removing the stalks. There are nice updates in other ways but I don't want an update that removes the stalks.

300 miles at 85+ mph with reserve and 15 minutes or less to recharge and do it again. This will require new to Tesla battery tech so why not throw in the Highland treatment to the Y as well. Add a heads up display or at least a driver screen option and people will be saying take my money!

I would love if the new refresh had ventilated seats. I'm ready for a new Model Y and wanted to order before the May 31st deadline, but I don't want to buy with a new model coming out. The dealership claims its not going to be for a year or so.

You can wait forever to purchase an item always being anxious about missing out on the next best tech , but sooner or later you just have to do it and live with it knowing full well you bought into a moment in time and it isn't standing still. I just took advantage of the latest Tesla offer knowing that a refresh of the Mod Y was coming. Oh well .

Same! I did that as well. Either way, the current deal was too good to pass on. Knowing Tesla, it can be years from now until the release and start shipping the new Y. Even if they come out with the new one, it really isn’t going to be that different than the current. Just a little different aesthetic and some light upgrades. We buy these cares mainly because of the software, not the aesthetics.

It will need to be a lot quieter and have better suspension, as my current 2023 is so loud I cannot drive it for more than 45 minutes without getting a headache from the low-frequency booms coming out of the suspension. In searching the net, I see that many others have had the same issue. I don't know if it's a defect in my particular vehicle or if some people are more sensitive to the noise than others, but If Tesla made it possible for BMW to charge on their superchargers tomorrow, I would dump my model Y for an iX in a second.

I almost bit in the .99 apr and got a Model Y…but it doesn’t offer that much more than my current Model 3. For the price difference, it’s just not worth it to replace the model 3 with the model y.

Price! I purchased a gently used M3 for my daughter to drive and give the family a shuttle car. My current auto is an F150...so I am likely to go for the Cybertruck if the price is right. If not, most likely one of the models in plaid.

To the question in your video, I pulled the trigger on a model Y, as an upgrade to my legacy model 3. The decision was based on value for money. Got the 1% financing. And, I was comfortable with the legacy feel of the old car so waiting for Highland was a non-issue.

I will not replace my model Y for another 2.5 years at least. And after that it depends on finances if I get a new Y or an S Plaid.

I’d update my current M3 to a new MY if they offered that special again of allowing us to transfer our FSD to a new vehicle. I’d pull the trigger to buy a new MY in a heartbeat if offered again, but I hear they may never do that again. 😢

I just purchased the 2024 Y but if the juniper had auto dimming privacy glass at least on the roof, REAL leather seats, FULL self driving and a DIRECT NUMBER to speak to a human - I would consider it. I think Tesla is the worst to get in touch with a HUMAN via their crappy telephone system. Give us a direct number instead of having us pushing buttons and hopefully getting transferred to an actual human.

For me to buy the new model Y it would need to have whatever HW5 camera/sensor package Tesla will be putting into Robotaxi. Hope 8/8 will reveal what Tesla genuinely believes is necessary for full autonomy.

The rate my 22 3P lost 60%+ of the value I paid in 2 years I’ll never buy another Tesla they don’t hold the value. Makes no sense to keep jumping into a Tesla when the values drop so fast.

I`m new to the stock market. Every stocks that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the opportunities so far. I believe having $450K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good asset to buy and losing all the good opportunities.

Even with the right technique some investors would still make more than others, as a Capitalist, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to an adviser for management which was how I was able to grow my portfolio tremendously.

I usually go with registered representatives. Wonghuatrades for example has the best performance history (in my opinion) and does offers 1v1 consultation to his capitalists which I think is amazing.
