Hello Dear Friends, I'm currently working as control and instrumentation engineer. I have more than 3 years experience in power plant C&I maintenance. Therefore I requests you to subscribe my channel for regular updates of power plant instrument maintenance and calibration of pH/conductivity/ORP Sensors, Silica analyser ( Hach 5500sc ), pressure guage/switch, level sensors etc.
Your feedbacks and requirement of C&I instrument maintenance are most welcome to improve my channel so please comment on video and if it helps you than don't forget to share with friends.
@@shantilaldhakar9967 sir if I had given the same supply 4-20mA coming from circuit anything will happen to sipart controller or need to give external source supply to simulate it.
after a manual calibration, i am getting a negative number on the positioner display because the valve is seating which is desired but the negative number is not. How do i make the display read zero when going under the lower set point of the manual calibration?? Please Help!
Your Positioner is mounted on which system i.e. Air to open/close actuator or power cylinder? Case 1: If ‘Air to Close’ type pneumatic actuator then check air pressure and ensure that it does not exceed specified limit. Case 2 : If power cylinder then you adjust through cushioning screw. And then repeat manual calibration procedure as explained in this video.
@@shantilaldhakar9967 it is a fail to close valve. On a diaphragm actuating control valve. The system set points requires the valve to jump up to 20% open as soon as any Ma signal is applied. So the valve was manually calibrated to set the lower limit to that 20% open so when Ma is applied it would automatically go to 20% open and achieve desired set points. Since the new 0% is manually calibrated to 20% open and the positioner closes the valve all the way to its seat once it gets the close signal. the display will read a negative number now because it thinks it is -20% to the seat. I was wondering if there is any way to zero that number out on the display or a better way to set up that valve to be able to achieve those set points. Thanks for the Help.
Error in RUN 1 means either actuator/power cylinder is jammed or air pressure is not sufficient. Please check air pressure, pressure seal condition and jamming of valve/actuator.
@@mrinmoysahoo8626 RUN 4 : Positioner check and determine the minimum increment length so if error means there may be air leakage through actuator/power cylinder pressure seal parts. Please check and ensure that their is no any such leakages. 👍
Check your actuator specification and if it is air to close type actuator then set air pressure. Also, you may set pressure 5-10% higher than rated pressure. Secondly, if above things checked and ok but problem not resolved then ensure that actuator spring tension is ok or not. It may be due to high spring tension of actuator so adjust it properly. 👍
Very Thanks Shanti for sharing Valuable knowledge giving us about Auto Calibration of Siemens. Plzzzz tell us about how to go in parameter about air fail close or air fail open then control mode is digital or analogue, then how to perform manual calibration. Also if possible show ABB TZIDC calibration & ABB double acting Pisitioner calibration. Once again Very thanks. Best & Warm Regards, Vinay.
Sar running abb control valve calibration out bata raha hai tu field mein kis equipment se calibration karenge sir please videos per banaaiye ham aapka subscriber hun
Sir EK problem Araha Hai valve auto calibration karne ke baad bhi valve 20 % hai aur command bhi 20 % araha Hai auto mode me lekin dcs me 0%show kar raha Hai valve kya karun ki valve fully close hojayye valve hamara fail to close Hai
Check parameter No. 7 and 38. If position feedback is just reverse then change parameter no. 38 from rise to fall and vice versa. And if command signal is reverse then change parameter no. 7 as explained above. I hope you got solution, further feel free to contact if you have any query. Thanks
Hello brother I want to do reverse direction ,like When apply 4 ma That time should Full open & when apply 20 ma that time should Full close, plz explain
It was good informative video that who worked in instrumentation filed especially in fild side.if you possible plse put more different type of positioner configuration and caliberation. For instance azbil
In case of linear actuators, if valve stroke is less than 20 mm then we select 33° transmission ratio else for valve stroke more than 20 mm we select 90°.
Sir ek problem hai 100% command pe 66 % arha hai... Input Kya kare 12 no parameters me ja ke chenge kar ke dekh liya par ho nahi rha . Please iska kya problem hai btae
