We are coming to Japan during the summer so imagine it will be very hot. Is the lower level air conditioned? or would it be better to be on the top even in the sun?
Are there cabs on the go available near this shrine? We have limited time (maybe just an hour extra) and wanted to visit the Naruto park in Fuji-Q highland
Arigatou, I will be coming to Japan for the first time in August and this is something I will definitely be doing. Pretty informative video. Cheers from Dublin, Ireland. ^_^
How early would you recommend going to see the sunset? For example sunset is at 5:30 when I am visiting and I am not sure what time to buy tickets. They seem to sell out fast too for sunset times.
If you want to see the sunset, I would recommend going about an hour before sunset time. I shot this video on February 12. I arrived at the observatory a little after 4:00 pm. On that day the sunset time was at 5:20 pm. I was able to see the view from daylight to sunset. If you only want to see the sunset, then about 30 minutes before the sunset time might be good. If you are thinking of going this observatory deck during winter or spring time and stay there for an hour or more, it's better to prepare yourself for the cold. It can be cold since it is on the rooftop.
Hello My friend New Subscriber LorneTLW watching here from Australia, thankyou for sharing such a wonderful video, we are heading to Japan next year in Mid October, so have been watching videos for information and ideas, your channel is so informative and enjoyable to watch. Can't wait to be back in Japan
Hi! Please ask the shop's staff when you want to test the guitar. Also, sometimes it's better to ask the staff when you want to touch the guitar, especially when it is a very expensive one.
I checked about 10 music shops' websites and found that most of them plan to close on December 31 and January 1. Even if shops are open, their business hours are shorter than usual. I think it’s better not expect them to be open during the year-end and New Year's holidays.
Helpful and great video 🙌 I was curious about how the process worked getting on one and this helped 😊 I’ve have been wanting to do this for a long time and now have a chance to this late march. Hopefully I catch the cherry blossom looking this pretty🤞
How much is a taxi from Kawaguchiko Station to where the Chureito Pagoda is? Is Oshini Hakkai worth visiting? Can we get a taxi after Chureito to Oshini? The reason I ask is that google tells me it takes 36 mins from Kawaguchiko Stn to Chureito then 1 hr from Chureito to Oshini. Hoping to make our trip faster by not staying too much in a bus or train. Thanks in advance.
From Kawaguchiko station to the entrance of the Pagoda park, when the traffic is smooth the taxi fare will be about 2500 or 3000yen for one way and it’ll take about 20min. From the entrance of the Pagoda park to Oshino-Hakkai doesn’t take 1h by car. But the Mt.Fuji area doesn’t have many taxis like in Tokyo, so it is hard to catch taxis except Kawaguchiko station. I think it’s better to think about using a local bus and train, or renting a bicycle, or hiering a taxi for one-day or half-day.
@@tokyo_updown_walks I see. It makes more sense for us to use taxi then from Kawaguchico to Chureito since there are 5 of us and it will be the same amount of fare. And if we can't get any taxi going to Oshino Hakkai, then I guess a bus will do. Can we buy a bus ticket going back to Tokyo at the Kawaguchico Stn or do we have to make an online reservation? We are excited to go to Japan for the first time but apprehensive at the same time. Tips like this help a lot. Thanks so much!
@@jackhazz5777 You need to make a reservation for the bus ticket from Kawaguchiko station to Tokyo. Online is best, but also you can buy ticket at the Shinjuku Bus station “Basta Shinjuku”.
Hi I was wondering if you can give us an update about this place? I heard to a group in fb that they found an article saying that Starbucks shibuya (this one) is closed and they don’t have a plan to reopen. Is it true? The place is amazing tho and nice to take pictures too
Hi! Thanks for the message. According to some news websites, this Starbucks closed on October 30 due to renovation work on the building it is in. The building will reopen in the spring of 2024 and it is said they will have a cafe. However, it is unclear whether the cafe is a Starbucks or not.
I couldn't find any mention of luggage size restrictions on the website, so I can't give you an exact answer. But 18 inches is not very big, so I think it will be fine. If the luggage is too heavy, too large or too many, then maybe not.
Oh, I love the Sakura tram line! I didn't know about this cafe though, so I will look for it when I am in Tokyo in November. Thanks for sharing it! I love small old out of the way spots!
I came here last week as I chanced upon this place while searching for places that sells new & second hand guitars - was not disappointed! Left Japan with a Fender MIJ at a very affordable price and at a decent condition.
You can buy a ticket at the bus station. “Busta Shinjuku,” the hub bus station in Shinjuku is useful. shinjuku-busterminal.co.jp/en/ Also you can make a reservation via web site. It’s better to book a seat atleast a day before you go to Mt.Fuji area. www.kousokubus.net/JpnBus/en
