Sorry but it is not the front foot specifically or the kick who does the flip, it is the body doing a jump backwards. He started the jump here (5:06) and landed here (5:09). You can see how the skater shrugs the body up in the air at the highest point of the jump (See 5:08).
Thanks! I realize now that I typically have my front foot completely on the nose. Here I see that you recommend to have the heel not on the board. I Will give it a try!!!
I need help getting my board to re-align itself when I’m done with the slide. My weight must have to shift more toward what ends up being my back truck, right? Like coming out of the powerslide, hypothetically, I’m going to have keep my weight back and maybe direct my board with my front foot to get it to re-align? Im just thinking out-loud, don’t mind me.
1.) Is it more the foot foot pushing out OR the front foot quick snap rotation of the ankle that levels the board out? 2.) Are you lifting your front foot straight up and them out or diagonal? The higher Ollie's looks like front foot goes STRAIGHT up
Cool! This is exactly the type of tip i've been wanting for my bs 180s. I just stumbled upon the idea of leaning over the front foot more today- now i just have to get that back foot swing going.
