Its made by wes ball so it will most likely be Botw based because he's done the nature taking over society post apocalyptic setting pretty much exclusively. The movie will play it safe and tell a straight forward story with lots of characters looking exactly as they were in the games. it will probably be a great one time watch for fans but lack substance entirely. The girl from the witcher and Kingdom may play zelda and that would be pretty lame.
Honestly I kind of dislike almost all the suggestions you made, no offense. Whereas the Mario movie could have a light story, portal setting, and billions of easter eggs, I honestly think the Zelda movie should be the exact opposite. Ever since OoT came out, Zelda has been a story driven video game series, even BoTW, a game often criticized for having a meager plot, has far more plot than the Mario movie ever could have, it's just very subtle. Just throwing in easter eggs as fan service will probably take SO MUCH time, emotion, and emphasis away from the plot and characters of the actual story. It'll honestly be a disservice. I feel the same way about the Portal Setting. It'd simply take to much time and emphasis away from the actual story and setting. Just imagine if LOTR had had a Portal Setting. The entire story would have been completely ruined, the stakes would have been minimized, the emotional attachment to all the characters in the story beside Frodo would have been negated and the entire world would have felt like ridiculous nightmare rather than a magical land. Plus, so much cool worldbuilding would have been wasted. With a portal setting you lose the sense of history and of realness which both LOTR and TLoZ need so badly. There's a reason the staple game of the series is called A Link to the PAST. Link can still grow up in a sheltered, more modern, less wild setting though and only learn about and explore the whole world and it's lore, after he begins his quest. Just look at Kokori Forest, Outset Island, and Ordon Village. Its honestly a vital part of the series, the need for the hero to know just as little about the world around him as the audience does. I also think the movie could, if it wanted to, be mostly based off of or inspired by a single game, likely that game would be either BotW, OoT, SS, or ALttP. I do agree with your points on Ganondorf. He should be intimidating and terrifying, and the movie honestly probably should be PG-13 (or right on the line, like Harry Potter). I think Nintendo definately should flesh out his character, backstory, and motivations and he should be the sort of villain we both love and hate.
If you can, try to outrange him. Other than his Neutral B, he doesn't have much range, and is quite slow on the ground. A sword character like Ike or Cloud, or a fast (or small) character like Pikachu/Pichu, Fox, Falco, or Sonic can help. I should know: I beat a Level 8 CPU Kazuya as Ike, Cloud, and Sonic before.
I hope he becomes a fast(er) heavy (potentially with his own version of float), who has the potential to be AT LEAST a mid tier. Edit: nevermind your ideas are so much cooler
Daisy is the lowest of the low because no one wanted her in Super Smash Bros. No one likes her, plays her or pays attention to her and everyone hates her. - She is the most obvious clone in the entire series - She is THE ONLY character in ALL of Super Smash Bros to have absolutely no personal touch, even the other echo fighters have at least a personal touch - She is the personification of the word clone (she is the clonest clone) It would have been much better if she was left out in aid of of Waluigi and/or Pauline, they are so much better than her and would have been a way more interesting. I played against a min min who mid match found out she could switch arms (the reason i know is cause she kept on spamming the fully charged dragon and then kept spamming the ring) she won i play as a pacman and i have no idea what to do and the guides don’t help cause I’m stuck either trying to go from above where i can easily be punished or shielding till it break or get too small worst addition to the game by far
I've been using him for a while and he isn't even a low tier character tbh. All i gotta do is spam d-smash and i can kill heavy characters at like 50%. Don't try blocking either i break your shield in 1 hit, so yeah he's definitely at least B+ tier.
I honestly can't even tell what he's doing half of the time. All i know is D-smash into F-smash shouldn't be true on any character. Especially not when you kill at 30%
I think Adult link can barly make it back if he’s doing his own bomb recovery, but it’s very situational because of whether he pulls out the bombs or not. Otherwise yes this is accurate enough where every link (except Kirby if you count his copy ability) cannot make it back by going low.
My notes for anyone that finds them helpful: HOW TO BEAT SORA - By TravPlay MOVES TO RESPECT * His main win condition is starting combos with his aerials (particularly nair). DI away works after mid percent to get out. * He is very good at pressuring shields, so be careful with spacing, and when he hits your shield: > Be careful not to drop it too early on multihits > Retreating and creating space (usually by jumping or rolling away) is the safest option * He has a great recovery, with a very high double jump, his side-b and his three part up-b. If your character isn’t good offstage it’s best to stay back and ledgetrap, otherwise you can try to hit him from above during his up-b or side-b, which he’s forced to do when he’s far away from the stage and more so if he has no double jump * He has great edgeguarding; thundaga will your force you to recover low and similarly the rest of his spells will force you to move around them. He can also go very deep himself and make it back, albeit slowly, so you could exploit this if the sora has this bad habit and your character can recover fast enough * His ledgetrapping is helped by his dtilt which can 2 frame, so mixup when you grab the ledge * Spells: > Firaga - a constant flurry of hadoukens, usually best to jump over them if fired from the ground or under them if fired from the air > Thundaga - three consecutive bolts that cover a lot of space and combo into each other, it’s best to shield them and avoid getting grabbed afterwards. Sora is left vulnerable if you manage to get to him while he throws this out, through or above the bolts. > Blizzaga - a flurry of ice that can freeze you inside a block and pop you up. Keep unpredictable positioning, if you’re hit: * Mixup your mash speed at low to mid percent * Mash slow at high percent to avoid getting hit by his up-b * Throws: > Backthrow: will kill most characters at 120+ from the ledge > Dthrow: leads into his biggest combos, DI away makes followups harder but mix it up > Down-smash breaks shields and has intangiblity at the start, react to it and punish with an aerial if close enough * Up-b can be used aggresively; if you shield it, a bad sora will land with a lot of lag in front of you, but a good sora will move away which you may hard callout. WEAKNESSES TO EXPLOIT * He is a lightweight, so strong hits will KO him earlier than most characters * He is floaty and slow, making it easy to predict his positioning and possibly play more reactionary * He struggles to kill, often having to make a hard read or land a kill setup, so again, keep your unpredictable positioning. His main killing moves are ftilt, back air and up-air * His counter is very exploitable; projectiles will go behind it and sora’s back is left vulnerable. This fact combined with his floaty and slow movement makes him susceptible to projectile camping * He has poor range compared to other swordies, and one of the smallest grabs, so he’s susceptible to big disjoints and to good spacing on his shield. A very simplified and general gameplan is waiting for him to approach you and then cutting him off with a projectile, a disjoint or punishing any risky whiffs (If you’re more serious you should obviously look for your own character’s counterplay/gameplan against him, or even develop your own)
I came here because I keep getting my ass beat by a level 9 Ness CPU that spams PK Fire and PK Thunder when my character is in the air (I'm bad at smash)
heavy characters are so broken since their only weakness is that SOME of them are slow. literally everything else is either unbeatable or almost unbeatable
you can use Link and Hero's shields to block Kafrizzle. also, I honestly can't see how Hero isn't classified as the worst character since he's the only character with moves that not only kill him, but also require mana.
Instead of a portal from the real world, I've wanted for a long time a zelda game that connects a modern hyrule (basically like our world but in hyrule) to a prehistoric / very early one (I mean close to the creation, before or when Demise first appears). I almost got what I wanted with totk but not quite. It could be the story of how hyrule always seems to restarts / is a cycle, we could even see some parts of previous cycle (or timelines), like in a magic mirror or something.. I'm probably being confusing, it's because I have had several loose and vague ideas around that bouncing around in my head for years, like, why is there more advanced technologie from the past in several games but the hyrule that we see always seems to be stuck in medieval/Renaissance times? Would b be cool to actually see one of those times hyrule was advanced, and also very primitive. Maybe my love of chrono triggeris influencing me there lol
Thanks for the video, I had a sonic coming up in bracket so I watched this quickly to prepare, and was able to win using some of these tips. Ended up getting 13th/82 players in part due to winning that set
