I play some Gunner, definitely one of my best characters. I only picked them up last year. I also believed for a time that all Gunner could do was be a budget Samus, but I was definitely wrong. You could work on your spacing and timing of those projectiles. Utilizing Fair when Gunner Gliding and when landing, getting your low percent throw combos and Drag Down Up Airs. The Up smash is pretty reliable for killing at 115 or higher. I’m excited to see how you improve.
Well generally speaking gunner is pretty solid it does have really good options to lock on enemies. However it's main issues are his mediocre mobility and no matter the variants of his recovery he lacl mix ups though absorbing vortex can help there and there Bottom line gunner is really worth it for being all arounder zoner
Yes, his mobility is bad, but with proper f air techniques you can mitigate that. His recovery is actually pretty good and can mix up, with the up special I chose. He lacks good out of shield options though.
@@TravPlay I would say absorbing vortex can help from short range, from a jump it start from frame 10, have pretty big hitbox and only minus 10 on shield which isn't bad isn't perfect by any mean but at least give ya a more solid OOS from the front and you can make some follow ups but it usually designed more for back off with jumps and F air
