The thing about going from 100 - 98 in 1 hr and then 98 - 82 % is because of the fact that it takes way longer for it to go down even 1% from 100% than compared to lets say atlas 95% - 94%. I’ve noticed that with my iPad Pro m4 11inch
Yeah I mentioned that a bit in the video. I’ve found that all Apple products and a lot of other products tend to hold the 100% longer then other percentages
i mean, the iPad Pro 2018 is still a top iPad, the only problem with these iPads is still iPadOS the software is still not that good to replace a laptop in my opinion it is only worth something if you want an OLED display and a bit more software support as well as better performance, I would rather go for a MacBook Pro M3 for most
Yeah there are definitely still things that iPadOS can’t do. And if you’re someone that needs those MacOS features then you still need a Mac. However, I do think iPadOS continues getting better. Even in iPadOS 18 the files app received some very necessary improvements. And for what I do, the iPad allows me to not have to have a laptop. But I totally get that is not gonna work for everyone yet. Thanks for sharing!
I hate the scroll feature on remarkable so much. I need to know when a page ends so I don’t have to worry about which page has extra information that I have to remember to scroll to.
Regarding the nano texture, do you notice any quality issues with reading books? I was curious if there’s a difference between the standard OLED screen.
I went in the store to play with the pro model I always get the pro model but I honestly wasn't impressed after having the Samsung ultra for some time now it makes the iPad feel old
New visitor to your site and I found you did a very nice, detailed and real-world comparison. Just what I was looking for as I own a 2018 iPad Pro 12.9.
That’s awesome! I’m really glad that it was helpful. I have a goal to be informative and have actual experiences and to discuss use cases that I have come across on my own. I’m glad I seemed to meet that for you, thanks for sharing!
I bought esr folio case but the angle is almost upstraight like 80 degree something. Anyone know case like esr folio case but with good angle to watch content
As far as I know, most folio cases have a very similar angle, but new cases for these iPads are constantly coming out, so I’ll let you know what I see! The Apple Smart Folio has more adjustable angles but it is more expensive as well
i bought the shift case and the only down side i found is the missing flap and weak magnet cover. so i removed the flap from my old esr case and put it to my shift case. now i can securely put my pencil on top and also holds the cover solved 2 cons, now it's perfect for me. ru-vid.coms5b9UwJ5or4?si=iUbPWGz5W96GDMcW
😂 I got the 11inch, returned for the 13inch, returned that one for the 11inch again, and now I’m kind of regretting it. I think I need 13inch, but 11inch is just perfect for portability. I have until next week to decide.
1st iPad. Started with the 13”. Didn’t like the “portability”. Returned it for the 11”. Happy ever since. When I would rather grab my iPhone than my iPad, I knew there might be a problem.
Well that’s awesome that you found a device to fit your needs, however I’ve used Boox devices and wasn’t a big fan of them. So I think this review is still very helpful!
It’s a nice case but I can’t phantom paying the inflated price for such a basic case. I mean there is not pencil protection. I have to pass. Now the ESR case is a winner
i would like to see a video playing games on max capability i wouod suggest to do a video trying these video games : codm, pubgm, warzone , critical ops . note: put the fps on 120 i wana see the full capability
You’re doing great things, your reviews bring a special edge to them. I can tell you’ve thought about real use cases and day to day annoyances in designs. Thank you!
I kinda wished you had more cases in the video because I cant see myself using a case with no corner protection and there is a lot of brands that make cases
@@Graf-XTechReviewsyou already said you would do a comparison with the esr case that have a keyboard so I probably say the Logitech combo touch I like Mous phone cases so if they have released their iPad case when you do it I recommend that Then I heard otterbox make pretty good protective cases and nillkin make cases that is a little different when others shown normally But I do know it is really expensive so I don’t really expect to see more when you already did and the review you made was really good and I got surprised when I looked it up I remember it as a lot more iPad case brand but I didn’t really find many so if I was the one that have done the review right now it probably also just be apples own esr and Logitech
Omg I thought esrs cases were able to magnetize to each other, that means I'm not buying them, I'm disappointed. I'm gonna just add a magnet to a case instead from a cheaper brand.
I used the $60.00 dollar Zagg screen protector on my $2,599 dollar Apple iPad Pro, which is specifically designed for iPads with the Nano Texture Screen, as indicated on the box.
Still find it kind of hilarious that you can get both the shift and the rebound and the cost would still be cheaper than getting a single Apple smart folio 😂
I actually was sure that those inner esr shells with this case and the keyboard were interchangeable. I had seen both before and was planning to buy both. Like you said that is a strategic fail for esr who could market that versatility. It is so obvious. The pin issue is easy to explain. Apple has to let you have that option through license. I am quite sure they simply saying no as to my recall only Logitech has had it. There is no way that there are not plenty of companies that would love to incorporate that functionality. I think that Apple simply does not want the market flooded with competitors with the Magic Keyboard with that capability even if they got a cut.
Yeah it is very unfortunate that the inner cases aren’t compatible! About the pins though, a company called Pitaka made a super thin case for the iPad that had pass through smart connectors so it could still attach to the Magic Keyboard, so you could be totally right that they are unable to made it, but I think they could make the pass through smart connectors as he seen others do it. But great points still! Thanks for sharing! Glad this video helped!
Good rant about the magnets! Couldn’t agree more. ESR make a Rebound Hybrid case - good compromise, like a their Rebound/Folio in your review but with the wrap case for the iPad for tablet use. I like mine
Yeah that one looks really nice actually! For me I still couldn’t have it work because I need one that I could easily pair with the Magic Keyboard, but that does look really nice if you don’t use a keyboard case!
The difference is negligible, but I would agree that the Apple Smart Folio is a little lighter than ESR’s version. I think its mostly because it have the extra material for the flap. But honestly if I wasn’t actively trying to get you an answer, I would’ve never noticed the difference 😂
I watched many RU-vidr’s create their content around this topic of whether to get an 11 inch pro or the 13 inch pro, and clearly there were moments that I could feel that you were leaning towards 11 inch as a preference. that became clear towards the end of the video and I respect you for taking the time and doing such a savage review of the two as I come from a 12.9 pro trying to decide whether should I get an 11 inch or 13 and at the moment I'm testing out the 11 inch pro and all the points that you made make so much sense. The biggest gainers are the mobility, the portability when sitting in a coffee shop or on the move you don't have to think twice and I've noticed that 13 inch if you're spending money on that it's just better to get a MacBook Air for their size and real estate. If that is a real concern if you would like to also get the ease of holding it in one hand whereas 13 inch inch model feels a bit worrysome for me, but the 11 inch is such a perfect spot with the new camera set up and the performance of the Apple Pencil and the coming AI features with the new iOS and for iPad it is going to be a game changer in my opinion and that's the direction I think with more and more software apps are heading to. Great review again, wishing your channel a lot of success from Canada.
That’s awesome I’m glad those points I discussed were really helpful to you! Thanks for sharing about your experiences and thanks for your support in growing the channel! Plenty more to come from me, I’m just getting started!
Yeah I actually think there is some things I like more with it. I don’t know if I completely like it more, but I get what you mean. Thanks for sharing! That’s not an opinion I hear often!
Hi I have a big doubt regarding which screen size should I buy the 11 or 13 I'm a photographer and cinematographer...my use for the iPad would be very broad, such as using apps to control lights in the studio, using the iPad as a monitor for the drone...as well as answering emails and drawing light maps... I've already been to the Apple store to see the 2 models in person and I still haven't decided. This decision is really difficult. What would be your opinion?
My gut reaction is the 11 inch. I don’t think you do many things that would really feel cramped on the 11” and you’d get more flexibility when carrying it around and it’ll just take up less space. It’s definitely not a super easy choice, but that’s my opinion.
