YARRR Mateys and Welcome to the Verse!!! Herein lies the adventures of CMDR Fly Auburn, Pirate, Freelancer, and no good scalawag!! Come sail the New Caribbean with me, NOW in the exciting world of Star Citizen, as well as watch the Episodes of infamy and years past, and the birth place of this channel in the space sim Elite Dangerous! My channel is about simulation in general, with a focus mostly on Space Simulation, and entirely on Star Citizen as of late 2022. I have been waiting, like many for Star Citizen to mature to this point for a long time. That time is NOW! My time in Elite was a test, a crucible, leading up to this moment. Now it's time, to pirate the black the right way, finally! You will occasionally see some DCS World mixed in (very seldomly), but otherwise you will see my adventures in the Verse, pillaging the trade lanes of the Stanton System and beyond!!! JOIN ME in this adventure, as we experience it together, and become infamous once again!!
I guess the thing with piracy is you always choose an easy target. Never see you guys try and roll on a crew though. Seems like your okay but not good.
If you bring a delivery crate with you that is associated with an open mission you have taken, you could drop off the former pilot's corpse somewhere else and still have a beacon of sorts to navigate back to the wreck site to continue your 'expedition". That solves a potential highly motivated revenge situation. How you shake off any bounty hunters, well that is another matter entirely.
Any tips on finding the miners/salvagers out in the LX areas? I've been to most and only managed to find one person randomly out there after searching for hours :(
Nicely done , I see you came over to SC from ED. Its good to see you back in action , I tried getting a hold of Shippy but he has disappeared. Have you heard from Shippy , I stayed in touch with Threeofnine but he hasn't made the full transition to SC yet. Its sad as to what happened with The Code in ED but its good to see you. Take care. Yaaaarrr !!!
Shippy is going through some IRL stuff last I heard. Taking an extended break. I still talk to Threeofnine and I’m trying to get him to switch. It’s sad to see what happened to ED period, what happened to The Code was just a symptom of that disease. Thanks man! YARRRRR
Nice one. ;) One critic, after the BH attacked you around Ita, they could easily had followed you at Orynth and re-engage. In that case, the best way to deal with this is to go sell around another planet. Pretty sure you are rocking a XL-1 and those guys were on Gladius so it will give you a good 5 minutes of time to sell in peace at Crusader, Microtech or ArcCorp if they choose to keep track you down.
It's interesting to see the Corsair as the target of piracy. I'm curious as to how things would have played out if it were crewed or had a snub/escort.
great video of the save! i had to watch it twice because i was thinking wait a minute i was there, but i did not see myself and had to watch it a second time to catch my party marker in the background for about 3 seconds... which makes sense because i was fighting off the bounty hunter and doing overwatch in my pirate gladius. LOL it took us a while to get to the bounty hunter because he jumped in a ways from the overwatch squad, but once we got there he went down quick. nice job on moving the goods i don't think i saw any sparks! it was very satisfying getting our crew members loot back and in a very professional way.
Turned a reasonable catch. Into something that could be earned in half the time by doing other means. Because it was divided four times for other random people to just appear. I guess that is gameplay. Doesnt seem more engaging than anything else in the game.
Yeah the ramp wouldn’t close on the MSR due to distortion damage and while it was powered down. The minute it worked I closed it. As far as the Blue, I definitely should have closed that and prevented it from being used against me. I was fairly confident that the guy was alone and took the chance (mainly due to my excitement and ‘fog of war’ though). I’ve gotten much better about closing it, I just didn’t this time. Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah I don’t get the chance to do that very often in my ‘line of work’. Mostly I just explode and reclaim the ship and they’re gone. But when I can I do bedlog to end a session.
