Love Disney Parks? Other theme parks and amusement parks? Are you obsessed with roller coasters? Do you have a fondness for Disney books? Do you want to be the ultimate Disney historian?
Disney parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Springs), Carowinds, Dollywood, Holiday World, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Tweetsie Railroad, SeaWorld Orlando, Universal Studios, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Cedar Point, Kennywood, Waldameer, Six Flags Over Georgia, Kings Island, theme parks, roller coasters and Disney movies (blu-ray)! And Disney books.
After a media visit to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, I was able to offer a few POVs of the amazing roller coasters at the Busch Gardens park.
I have over 1000 Disney- and theme park-related books in my personal library.

When I was a kid I grew up behind Disney World and we always hung out at the Polynesian and contemporary never set foot in this hotel because it seemed like it would be a boring average Hotel and it wasn't on the Lakes now I'm wondering what it looked like I guess I didn't miss anything haha
Would love to see a Costco Editon for the 2nd Edition. Have the Costco Edition for the 1st Edition. Surprise there was no Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Poster in the 2nd Edition.
First visit 1975. A sweet; wonderfully intimate campground with my late husband. The steamtrain was 50 cents round trip..lol. We paid $14.00 per nite. I have seen all the changes since that time having visited WDW approx 55 times. A goat in the petting farm chewed up my skirt without damage but it showed my underpants behind my back with everyone including my husband a really good laugh (thanks Steve❤). The little brown internal busses were driven by real cowboys. The "cabin" aspect started as real travel trailers in Terry Trail Loop. I could go on and on..I miss Steve..he loved it so and so I will end with the then popular and what he would smile and say..."Have a Disney Day!" ❤❤😊
It's a shame that this video wasn't longer. I was getting a kick out of it. This is an excellent ride to have in a backyard to entertain family & friends.
More Five-Minute Disney Christmas Stories: A Perfect Christmas Celebration (Mickey Mouse franchise): It focuses on the protagonists and heroes from the Mickey Mouse franchise celebrating Christmas together with a quiet Christmas celebration with all its classic traditions but things go awry after Mickey and Minnie’s nieces and nephews arrive and drive Donald and Daisy and their own nieces and nephews crazy until Goofy, Pluto, Mickey and Minnie at the end teach them that all family members are welcome in Christmas celebrations and we must all accept it. Santa Claus even makes a guest appearance in the story. A Wreck-It-Ralph Christmas (Wreck-It-Ralph franchise): Set after Ralph Breaks the Internet, Vanelope and some residents from the Internet come to visit Ralph, Felix, Calhoun and all the other characters from the arcade games from Lipwak’s Arcade to celebrate Christmas and the Winter Holidays with them around Christmastime but they also have to work together to stop a new Christmas-themed villain from from a Christmas-themed game recently plugged in at the Arcade from taking over both Sugar Rush and Slaughter Race in time for the Christmas Celebration held at Fix-It-Felix Jr.’s. The characters even do a gift exchange at the end and give each other the exact Christmas presents and other ones they accept anyway that they wanted for the holidays and Santa Claus even makes a guest appearance in the story delivering Christmas presents and stockings full of goodies to all the children in the human and video game worlds including Vanelope and the Sugar Rush racers which include new racing karts which they loved and adored! And exactly what they asked Santa through Christmas letters to him but accept it humbly not selfishly as Christmas is about giving, not getting. King Candy/Turbo and Arthur are both absent and replaced by a new villain. As well as the second one to try to take over Sugar Rush and Slaughter Race after Turbo, the Cy-Bugs and Arthur but in a new method for a different goal. Riley’s Happy and Sad Christmas (Inside Out franchise): When Riley’s Christmas Vacation celebration to New York City and Chicago with her family and friends doesn't go as planned, Both Joy and Sadness work together to have Riley have the best Christmas ever and experience both happy and sad memories from it since it is Riley’s first Christmas since she moved from Minnesota and prevent Anger, Disgust and Fear from making Riley have negative memories from that experience, and make Riley her first happy/sad core memory that will make a new Island of Personality. Santa Claus, while delivering Christmas presents and gifts to Riley and her family’s home and who Joy and Sadness manage to get Riley to see from a safe distance also makes a guest appearance in the story. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust even sing and perform, “Santa Tell Me” at the end of the story. Bing Bong might be resurrected by Riley’s Christmas spirit or even replaced by a new imaginary friend as his heir. This was the second holiday themed story for the Inside Out franchise after the Halloween one starring Fear.
Stayed at the Treehouses in 1979 when I was 5. To this day, my sister and I still consider it the best family vacation we ever went on. We though the Treehouses were awesome. The spiral staircase, the golf cart and there were peacocks walking around which we'd never seen before. My sister inadvertently let one inside the place and much chaos ensued. The villa even had a trash compactor on the lower level which blew my mind. I vividly recall a really great toy shop in the shopping village and renting a boat on the lake. We've been to Disney World many times but our stay at the treehouses is the one that will forever top them all.
...... favorite amusement in us was westviewpark in pittsburgh, pennsylvania. Founded by t.m. harton co in 1906 the park was the prototype of the trolley parks that you characterized in your video: roller coasters [3]/ carousels [2]/ fun houses [dark rides]/ assorted 'flat" ironrides [swings-ferris wheels etc] that thrilled generations of patrons for decades until the parks unforgivable closure in 1977.
What one would you recommend someone get if they only wanted 1 of the editions? The first pre opening edition without the word center? Do you know if these books were sold in the parks at all?
Hey, any chance you can do a video review of The Art of Walt Disney From Mickey Mouse To Magic Kingdoms & Beyond 100 mtg celebration edition? Came out like early Nov of 2023
An especially wonderful time to visit Korner's Folly is during the Christmas 🎄 Holiday Season, following Thanksgiving all the way to Epiphany, this year (2023) January 6th. The unique home is fully decorated for Christmas in Victorian Style, and every year there is a different " theme" and no two years are ever the same! A visit here will certainly enhance your enjoyment of the Holiday Season. The Candlelight Tours, which were December 2nd and 16th in 2023, can be reserved by purchasing tickets 🎟 in advance. I was blessed to go on a Candlelight tour and it was a very special evening! Costumed Carolers entertained, lovely designer inspired rooms throughout to see and photograph, a storyteller in the third story theatre, Moravian cookies and delicious warm apple 🍎 cider served on the side porch following the tour, and a gift 🎁 shop to visit in " Aunt Dealy's " behind the house. Currently, there is a wonderful welcome center, the John and Bobbie Wolfe Welcome Center for Korner's Folly, which opens in the spring of 2024. While you are in Kernersville visit our other town showplace, Paul J. CIENER Botanical Gardens and visit our downtown shops, the village of decorated Christmas 🎄 trees at the Historical Society and see a festive downtown beautifully adorned with our own "BLINKIES" and a wall of Moravian Stars 🌟 in our lovely downtown Park! Kernersville is definitely one of the most beautiful and special NC small towns to visit during the Christmas Season. You will be welcomed and you will enjoy a special Holiday experience that you will never forget!
I own an airline chair that I inherited from my parents. We had two in our Atherton, CA living room, the house being designed by Harwell H. Harris and built in 1941. We had additional uniquely designed tables which I have never been able to find online, and may have been one-offs designed by Weber or Harris just for us. I am now repairing the leather straps that attached the back of the chair to its wood frame. The chair was designed to be modular so the frame breaks down into four pieces that are joined with steel appendages, and the two seat bottom and back by a steel rod fitted into a tubes attached to the bottom and back pieces. Those two latter pieces are joined to the frame by two leather straps. My straps broke when my older brother sat in my chair several years ago. I think this chair is really best meant to be admired rather than used. That is one of the results of being worth up to $25,000 at auction (at least a few years ago). Stayed there with my family on vacation in 1983, I was 13 at the time. Possibly fairway villas? Some of those pictures and the decor look familiar. I remember walking to the pool and the small clubhouse had an arcade game where a lot of quarters got burned up. The main square had food and I remember going out on the motor boat with my dad on the lake.
I am a math and computer science teacher in a high school in NY. I am also the faculty advisor to GEMS in STEM (girls in STEM). Thank you for your review. I just purchased this book for my library to share with our girls. Women still strive to find an equal place in STEM fields. Continuing to inspire our girls to see themselves in STEM is an important key to closing the gender gap in STEM.
