I am lucky enough to have her as my cardiologist. She’s doing an amazing job explaining everything for me and she has been so quick to act with every tests! I’m so so lucky. She needs more recognition ❤
It is amazing how stupid our Govt is in the face of such simple logical steps. Wtf is wrong with them? Have they all caught some stupid gene/virus from Johnson?
As a long covid sufferer, I’ve watched hundreds of videos on the subject. How curious is it that this one has not gotten any comments, even though it’s one of the most informative videos on the internet. Very curious. So let me leave a comment so hopefully that’ll do something good in terms of the workings of the mechanism that decides to promote certain videos.
Only 144 views, we truly are so so unbelievably stupid.. Yet put on some information about some vacuous celebrity and there would be millions of viewers.. When did we become so apathetic about substance in our lives as opposed to consuming so much crap. Just enquiring if this focus on Long Covid will bring benefits to others with conditions like Fybro Myalgia or ME for example. I am no expert in any shape or firm but and so greatful to Dr. Rae and her colleagues across the globe working on this. I'm a long hauler but nowhere near as bad as thousands of others I'm sure..
Sars-cov-2 endothelial damage, and not acute covid-19 is, in my view, one of the most important aspects of everyone’s future. I do not really understand why isn’t evident more interest on this matter expressed by scientist that address the public opinion. For sure there must be positive and negative modulators for this damage that need to be investigated. This is not just a “cardiovascular” problem, this is a damage vector that may affect any tissue/organ/system in very many different ways at different pace under different circumstances, finally presenting as completely disparate pathologies depending on involved tissue. It is crucial address what needs to be done. Otherwise, we are all sailing blindfolded into unchartered territory, and too little too late may translate in a slow motion unfolding disaster. Let’s just hope that our immunological experience progressively address these mid and long term consequences of infection, because it seems clear that there is little to be done on long term transmission, npi, and as I understand, on pharmaceutical interventions as well. Thank you for your exposition
