Sars-cov-2 endothelial damage, and not acute covid-19 is, in my view, one of the most important aspects of everyone’s future. I do not really understand why isn’t evident more interest on this matter expressed by scientist that address the public opinion. For sure there must be positive and negative modulators for this damage that need to be investigated. This is not just a “cardiovascular” problem, this is a damage vector that may affect any tissue/organ/system in very many different ways at different pace under different circumstances, finally presenting as completely disparate pathologies depending on involved tissue. It is crucial address what needs to be done. Otherwise, we are all sailing blindfolded into unchartered territory, and too little too late may translate in a slow motion unfolding disaster. Let’s just hope that our immunological experience progressively address these mid and long term consequences of infection, because it seems clear that there is little to be done on long term transmission, npi, and as I understand, on pharmaceutical interventions as well. Thank you for your exposition
