great video out on Georgian Bay. I was a regular fishing the OSS. I moved out of the area and haven't fished this derby in a while. Hope you did well and got into some big fish. I mainly fish by Port Severn area as I have a cottage there. I get into some nice salmon over here as well. cheers Bob

Great underwater footage, always cool seeing how the fish react up close. We went out Thursday the 3rd just outside Rochester in New York, had 4 on in the first half hour and only landed one but unfortunately had to go in due to a rough west wind.
@@thebrokesportsman it’s been good, four hours of fishing average 4 to 6 fish lots of coho and bows. The odd king. Biggest this year was around 25. I get most of the catches on film 🎥. Check out my last few videos out on the lake. 🎥🎣🇨🇦👍😎
Good thing to see someone in Ontario is havin luck on the ice this winter. I’ve been out 3 times now and haven’t got a laker yet here in Renfrew County. Not much ice either.
I've ran Otters since 1997 but im currently using the Nanook XT ice team. I don't really care for a few things about the Clam. No padding on the seats, doesn't come with spreader poles (other than the back one) all at a cost higher than an Otter Cabin that comes with them. Also I don't like how the daylight comes in at the heat weld dots and light shines right through the fabric. Sled is very light duty compared to Otter as well. All these negatives for me and I'd still pick the Nanook Xt over the Cabin just out of how light it is and how much fishing room there is. I don't use the factory seats and I'm down to 59lbs with my folding chair that I put the Clam seat covers on. The one exception is if you plan on pulling behind a snowmobile or atv. I wouldn't trust the Nanook to be drug around like I would an Otter.
Where do you park your truck when you go out ice fishing on Simcoe. I would like to try ice fishing but don't know where to park, they list no parking in lots and city streets in north bay. Any tips for a newbie.
