Im using them as we speak, and there sound ok, but the noise cancelling is worse actually than on the $24 dollars headphones i had before this...most of the times when i select noise canceling mode it will actually star using transparent mode......returning them asap
Would you reccomend it for video editing really wanna take my actual pc gameplay clips and use the laptop as more as a video editing device with some entertainment downloaded of course with just a few games
Great review mate. I'm looking for a new chair & have been weighing up my options. I have a lot of the same "issues" I guess you could say hahaha so this is helping me a lot. Straight to the point, no fluff. Awesome stuff. Keep it up. 👍
Why does a phone need to be fully submersible and why does it need to have wireless charging. Those are two of the most useless features. wireless charging is still a joke, unless your using OnePlus 12 wireless supervoc charger, and it's not like their installed at your local Starbucks.
I appreciate your review. I am in the process of purchasing this very Katana myself, and previously had a GL65. During that time I had it, it mostly sat on my home office desk, with my gaming headphones, attached to an external monitor, and always plugged in. So why did I get it? Because I travel a lot. And it's also good for doing impromptu meetings away from my desk. It's just the convenience of being able to be mobile that matters more to me.
Thanks for this. I tested these headphones yesterday, I was not impressed. They go for R1699 (ZAR) here in South Africa. Price is not bad, but there are other better options in this price range.
Definitely not, if you only wanna play league of legends go for something much cheaper than this. It's a pretty powerful machine, it's like using flamethrower to light up your cigarette.
"I've got another laptop for work, just a basic macbook pro, and it's speakers blow this out of the water." My brother a macbook pro is an expensive laptop, even for the lowest tier model...
With LDAC enabled they sound great for 60$. Without LDAC yeah they suck. Sennheiser Accentum out of the box sound great like the LDAC enabled version of this but they are 2.5x more in the price. Haven't tried any other soundcore headphones. If you don't have an android go buy something else
How is the call quality? Also, when you have 3 applications in open canvas, can you play audio/video on the application that is not visible in screen? For example, having Rumble, RU-vid, Netflix off to the side streaming while I have 2 other apps open on the inner screen.
I bought the Katana 15 b12vgk ( i7-4070) at sale a couple of days ago, i'm going to up the ram from 16 to 32Gb ( a lot of heavy-modded games), maybe install a 2Tb storage, but I think i'm going to put an old 2Tb ssd in an external case. Slapped one of my W11 Pro licenses in it and been testing some benchmarks, I think this laptop is going to serve me just fine when i'm off to my cabin during the weekends. Btw, regarding temps i've lifted the back from the table 25mm to let it breathe and limited the fps to 75 using Nvidia control panel and yes, power adapter is needed :D
