A Wop is a slang term for an Italian, and the guys talking are clearly from WASP, white Anglo Saxon Protestant backgrounds. They are using it as a term of endearment here but WOP is often perjorative.
Considering all he had to go off of was two fake names, a fake location and a fake business name that was made up on the spot yet he STILL figured out their true identities. Tommy Gufano really is a wop genius.
Really wish we would have been given some POV of John, or at least Jeremy, spying on this conversation. John's attempts at stealing Claire with no knowledge of this as far as we know, actually made him a bigger villain throughout the movie.

Inviting Neil over was one thing, but then ALL their coworkers who then used her grandmother's silverware? Honestly her NOT exploding at them shows serious restraint on her end.
I actually was a college tour guide and used some of his references and manerisms in this scene. It was great I combined it with my own tour guide script and the group loved the tour! Its awesome newer college students dont watch these kinds of movies like road trip because they assume youre just improvising if you reference quotes from them in a tour , awesome times tour guiding!!
Madison Wisconsin is hands down the most fun college experience on earth. Tons of bars, good Greek life, good football, basketball, hockey, women’s sports. Beautiful college town.
