I'm currently working on my own, original webcomic, Jamie Jupiter! And now you can purchase the first trade paperback! If you love sci-fi and superheroes, by all means, check it out! I'm also taking commissions too! All the links you need are below. :)
Some nice episodes on your list! Rainy Day adventure would be my favourite of these 10 too. While i can't really decide on a top 10, my top 3 are probably these: 1. Telephonies - it's the episode that got me into PPG again as an adult, and i love the fact that it has several villains play an important role. 2. Moral Decay - it starts off super fun, but gets brutal real quick. Nowadays cartoons are so "tame". Also: "You know what they say: An eye for an eye,... and a TOOFFFF for a TOOFFFF!" 3. Super Zeroes - Liberty Belle, Harmony Bunny and Mange were awesome, and the fact that the monster starts speaking and says "Listen girls, my name is Steve, i'm a monster." is just marvellous. That line hit me so hard, since my name is Steve, it had me laughing like crazy. The visual design of Steve surely being a Hedorah (from Godzilla) reference makes him even cooler. Which cements Steve as my favourite monster, while HIM is my fav. villain and Blossom my fav. PPG. And again, i just can't stop rambling on, just like Mojo Jojo. (Mo Linguish is also a sick episode!)
I think the logical explanation for the moment in the episode Crime Wave for how Mr Turner took off Timmy's underwear was by pulling them down simultaneously as his pants and shirt. I hope Butch Hartman would confirm that he pulled down Timmy's underwear simultaneously. And that Timmy definitely felt his underwear getting pulled off.
I think I remember hearing that Superman flying actually started in the radio programs, because it was easier to do the sound effects for flying than one of him just leaping. But yes, this was the first time that Superman was shown flying visually.
I have heard of this movie but have never seen it, and once I saw your reaction to it, I don't want to. I remember the Snorks cartoon. Also my brother got me that shirt as well as that Disney one with Most of the villains, Mom told me I could choose one of them, but it turned out I didn't want either one of them because they had villains so I gave them away. Natalie has the Disney one with the villains on it and wears it like a Halloween and night shirt.
I'm glad I was able to save you some time. I feel bad, because there IS some good in this, but the writing and super slow pacing is just awful. And as for that shirt, I got it for Christmas one year, so I use it as a pajama shirt. (So yes, I actually reacted to this in my pajamas. XD )
Like the visuals for example? Then again this does have a deceased Father (which Could explain why the boy is in a wheelchair, kind of interesting that the actor who played him really Was in a wheelchair in real life), which is something I rarely see in movies. Nothing wrong with doing stuff in one's pajamas.
@@mackenziehoness5437 Yeah, the visuals, camera work, and acting was fine. The story just needed a lot of work. And yeah, if they were going to have a disabled character, good on them for finding a disabled actor.
Good question. I honestly didn't think about them at the time I made this because I wasn't expecting Aileen's parents to make an appearance, or for the MIB Lady to become such a prominent character. Maybe when I make a video for the Season 3 characters, I can add in the ones I missed for Season 2.
I loved the show but having villains like Louie the Lilac, Lila Lasagna and the Liberace twins ( cannot recall the names) brought the show down with those episodes. Caesar Romero looked as though he was having a great time as did Victor Buono and Vincent Price
Anybody who's been with this channel for a while knows what a big Star Trek fan you are, but I'm curious if you're also into any of the other big sci-fi shows from that TV Space Opera boom we got in the 90's and 2000's. Y'know, like Babylon 5, the Battlestar Galactica reboot, Farscape, or the Stargate shows?
Last comment I promise -- about a year ago I was working on something and I had Batman 66 on in the background and I noticed something -- its essentially a radio serial! There is so much exposition you don't need to be watching it to know everything that's going on... Batman's THOROUGH (and completely unnecessary) explanation of the Bat lie detector fluid at 11:01 makes my point beautifully
Commissioner Gordon played every scene like he was a character in the Maltese Falcon or some serious film noir. That was awesome -- Chief O'Hara was a bit of a leprechaun stereotype
Youre right again -- the Riddler scared me shitless... I think he was closer to what the Joker was in the comics, thus his homicidal portrayal of the character vaulted Riddler from a wanna-be supervillian to first rate -- he was even part of the "Legion of Doom" in the Superfriends show
You are exactly right! When I was a kid they syndicated Batman after school and they mixed up the order so you would only know if it was a "Batgirl" episode if her motorcycle zipped past the opening credits -- thus I never picked up on the total change in format and complete dip in quality. In Season 3 they rushed everything, had no cliffhangers, got in and out of jams instanteously, and the sets looked cheap. But Batgirl was outstanding and looked cool, and I thought that at a time when the introduction of a girl into a boy type show would have been met with derision. I think its because she held her own as a crimefighter/fist fighter so boys accepted her contributions to the team.
Same. Batgirl's character is unfairly blamed for "ruining" the show, when the reality is that there was a ton of other behind the scenes problems going on.
Your William Dozier "voiceover" has perfect cadence and you even timed the music exactly the way they did it... I always felt those voiceovers were key to the shows success because they were a throwback to the "Republic Serials" that the show was parodying
Excellent choices. I think my two favorite episodes from the 80’s revival are Dead Run and The Devil’s Alphabet. Dead Run follows a truck driver who is blackballed from the job after several accidents. Desperate for help, he takes a job from his father’s friend. The job? Carrying souls to Hell. The episode talks about rigidity, damnation, morality and redemption. It’s tragic and horrifying…but also hopeful and a reminder that second chances are available to those who deserve them. The Devil’s Alphabet (based on a story by a contemporary of MR James, aka the father of the modern day ghost story) is about the members of a college fraternity who decide to meet every year even after death. When one of their members commits suicide, the survivors learn to their horror that their oaths are binding. This is more a classic ghost story with a dash of cautionary tale and is both scary and heartbreaking at the same time.

Love that movie so much. It's my childhood :) The best Christmas Movie for me :) And for me there ist not one scene where i would say it vould be boring for me :) But the German Synchro makes it so much better as it is in english xD In english the conversations are so boring, but the german synchro gave them everything
Since this is a Reupload of a old video (I can tell as the RU-vid page hasn’t look like that in a long time) What’s your favorite episodes of season 5?
Thanks! I think the part I'm most proud of is the very beginning with JJ running towards the camera. It was the most complicated part, but turned out better than I thought it would.
@@ToonGal12 no worries! And yea I would say that is my favourite part too. It’s funny, I’ve got a superhero character myself called Pyjama-Girl and I’ve wanted to do the ‘66 Batman opening with her for every. However, it the running part that scares me off. xD
@@lori2637 I'm sure you can do it! I just watched the original footage at super slow speed and went frame by frame and copied the poses. All this was was just four poses run back and forth: 1-2-3-4-3-2-1-2-3-4 and so on. I made a separate video of her just running in place and then zoomed in on it to make the "running towards the camera" effect.
@@cassyluvsanchez4005 The next video I have planned is a reaction. As for a Top 10, it won't be happening for a while, but it's most likely going to cover my favorite seasons of Power Rangers. I'm currently making my way through the whole franchise. So a new Top 10 probably won't happen until the end of this year.
