I found this in 2022. So beautiful both of them! I really like that time when there weren't any super hollywood celebrities yet and Benedict was more serious. More confident in his work and less in his fame.
It’s amazing how much technology has even changed from this movie. For example, Sherlock uses his fingers to type really fast to text now people can use their voice to type a text.
Benedict, do you really know what you are talking about? Sherlock a sociopath and slightly autistic? This doesn't fits in the slightest together, sociopathy and autism don't have anything in common, there practically doesn't exist any similarities. Either he is autistic or sociopathic. Both together doesn't work. In The Hounds of Baskerville Lestrade and John have a conversation about Sherlock. L: "I suppose he likes having all the same faces back together. Appeals to his…his…" J: "Aspergers?" Asperger syndrome belongs to ASD.
He (martin freeman) is my wingman Please Google the meaning of wingman.. A wingman is someone who is on the "inside" and is used to help someone with intimate relationships.
I think Benedict Cumberbatch is great. Sadly, I think those productions of SHerlock were not; too much camera movement, text messages on screen, and well, I am not usually negative, but it’s deserved in this . Doyle wold not even recognize what he was watching if he were here to see this . . Of course, I am an ardent admirer of all the SHerlock Holmes stories, having read them all throughout my life ~ ~ ~. I am also a Blues fan and player so I am also critical in that area as well. There is so much garbage out there . . . . Oh well. I think they should give Benedict a better or a period piece and he’d do it wonderfully. The failure of these productions is not the fault of Benedict. His Watson is also a great actor. Just too bad it’s a bad offering . . .
never thought that casting watson would need longer process than sherlock himself...and it was not actor's individual gravitas as watson that sealed the deal, it was the symbiotic relationship between watson and sherlock...amazing!
Sociopath is a bad word for him. What they used to call sociopath is what they would call antisocial personality disorder today. That personality disorder is highly destructive and Moriarty would be more like a sociopath/antisocial. Sherlock is more like a narcissist or schizoid. I wonder where the writer's got the idea to put that poorly formed self diagnosis into his mouth?
