This broke on me. The wooden bolts broke off. (I used impact gun maybe thats why). Luckily no damage. My weight was 60lbs per wheel and tire. I later drilled extra holes and added new and more bolts. Dont rely on the factory hardware.
How did the car perform in the winter or colder weathers & did you have to keep the battery on a charger when not in use i daily my vehicle and wanted to know would this be a good upgrade for daily use
Harbor freight has the open end sockets so you can remove the nut at the top of shock and use the Alan wrench thru the top of socket to keep it from spinning
Just did mine… pretty easy BuT that bottom bolt is a B! Still have a little whinny noise though.. not sure what’s up… filled the fluid and still there when I accelerate…
A thin layer film of Honda power steering fluid should have been applied to those o ring gaskets before final tightening oh well its so easy and cheap to replace them if they leak again it's not that big a loss but I'm sure they will eventually leak again sooner than later since they were installed without putting on a thin film of power steering fluid upon final installation
Hey man i have potentially a really stupid question, but.. im gonna ask anyway. I love the look of the wing but im not really a fan of the bottom part thats sticking out beyond the trunk of the car. Is it possible to remove that bottom half and take just the top part of the wing and install it?
Might be too late but that’s insane bro don’t do that. Try and do the o rings first. I wasted time and money buying a new pump and it didn’t fix shitttt
Excellent video! Especially the tip about the fasteners that stayed in the door instead of coming off with the panel. Very informative without wasting any time. Well done. Thanks for posting it.
I installed a spoiler using 3M double stick tape instead of drilling. I'm very happy with the result. It seems the original spoiler was in place using double side tape as well. Still firm a year later.
Hi Right Foot Down, was wondering if it would be alright if I used a few clips for a project I’m working on with ProCharger?!? Wanted to make sure it was okay before using any media, thanks!
I put the last 125k miles on my 06 530xi. My car now has 254k. It`s still a very nice driver. I`ve done my share of replacing worn parts. No sedan I`ve driven drives as good.
Pretty good for stock cars but, all cvt vehicles are really road only, they will overheat. Jeep is known to be a lemon worldwide. Vw killed ppl in dieselgate, never buy one! The sportage in ‘DIESEL’ def best rig has proper transmission. Lightweight all terrains would help all these rigs.
