Yeah, it's always the same. It's more about the timing of your jumps so you can get your attacks in as early as possible.

It's a frame perfect strat I found that involves dying and resurrecting Kyle by pressing start at the right frame. Once he comes back, you are able to run through enemies.

Yeah, it works as long as you have land under feet. For example, on first level, as soon as you touch first ladders - it is game over. Nice find though @@RetroBrando

I believe it's Jump + Up and as Kyle is starting to drop, you press and hold Down at the right frame.

Yeah, I wasn't aware of Dark Castle one cycle until I was done and spring jump is a nice little timesave. Overall, it was a fun game to grind for a month.

beat the game completing whatever % is required. usually it means skipping and glitches and getting to the end / cut scene by whatever means necessary. in super mario 3 it involves writing code to memory to trigger the end cut scene using a *very* intricate series of sprites, turtle kicks and other pixel perfect tricks.

Yeah it's not consistent. I'd say just mimic what I do and if you can get it half of the time that's good enough.

@@crisforte9377 I believe it has something to do with the correct placement before Bubbles jumps off your shoulders but I could be wrong. Also, if you have anymore questions you can always stop by the channel when I'm live.

It's a lot to explain but you have to spin and grab that ledge and swing to the top. You know you got it if there's star power still circling around Michael. Once the fight starts, I hold down and spam attack until I hear 3 enemy death sounds. Then you create a spin buffer by doing one spin, pause and then spin all the way to the beginning of that grave to the right and throw your hat. When the last zombie jumps out, do another hat throw and you are good. I also have an updated run of 18:17 that has the most updated tech. I recommend checking that out as well.
